Chapter 14 Missing Us...

Jake laid down across his couch, he had a mild head ache from drinking the other night,
he had got done with work, downed some head ache medicine, and was just scrolling through his social media, he went to look at Erika's instagram just to see what she was up to...He knew he wouldn't talk to her right then, and it hurt seeing her face, but it also hurt not seeing her so...

Jake saw she hadn't updated her pictures since the 'wedding' picture Kelly probably posted on the day, Jake felt his face get warm, and tears start to form, seeing Erika in that wedding dress,
she was probably getting on with her life, raising her baby, maybe she even got wth her ex again, and they were having a beautiful family.

Jake put his phone down sitting up, rubbing his face trying to keep himself from crying,
as the feelings he'd been trying to push down, bubbled back up, Jake was about to get up to go for a walk, to try and get rid of his 'Jerika' feelings, when his phone buzzed again,
he saw Alissa's name show up, he thought hard about just blocking her, but if he was honest
he was feeling lonely and vunerable so he grabbed the phone looking at her text.

Alissa:Hi

Jake:Hey Alissa.

Alissa:What happened last night, why didn't you text back?

Jake:We aren't close, I shouldn't even be talking to you...

Alissa:Why can't we be? I did some bad stuff I shouldn't have, but I'm sorry

Jake:...

Alissa:I miss you Jake, I really do...

Jake stared down at his phone, in his gut he felt like he couldn't trust Alissa but at the same time, he really wanted someone right then, he didn't want to be left to cry alone, over someone who probably already moved on.

Jake:What have you been up to?

Alissa:❤ Nothing much, I kinda suck at this social media stuff, lol

Jake:I can tell

Alissa:Whats that suppose to mean!?

Jake:I haven't seen any news about you in forever, I thought you dropped out of the game 😂

Alissa:Ha ha, very funny 😑

Jake:Why don't you model anymore?

Alissa:I can't get a job! Its tough when you don't know a whole bunch of people.

Jake:Maybe start posting more, things could end up working their selves out 😉

Alissa:Ha ha, maybe! I'll give it a try😘

Jake ended up leaving out of the house anyways, walking around the yard while him
and Alissa caught up with one another, they talked about old times in the old Team 10 house
from pranks to ex members, and soon worked their way up to when Alissa was kicked out, and they went their separate ways, and who they dated since then to what they were trying to work on.

Chance looked out the window seeing Jake smirk a bit while he texted, of course he couldn't see who he was texting, but he already had gotten a bit suspicious.
"Yo Tony" Chance said, Anthony was in the back behind Chance playing a game on his phone laying on the bed, while Chance stood peeking out the window.

"Yo" Anthony said without looking up from his game, "Do you think Jake's pushing himself too fast?" Chance asked, "With?" Anthony questioned in a monotone, "With getting back involved with people, I mean after the break up?" Chance questioned, "No? Jake's finally getting over it, let him be" Anthony said with a scoff, "I don't think so..." Chance mumbled, "Well you heard what I think about it" Anthony said bluntly, "Can you act like you care?!" Chance suddenly yelled looking back at Anthony, "Can you leave me alone?" Anthony asked, Chance sighed out loudly, "Okay, okay, I care about Jake too, its just- you can't hold his hand through everything,
he's a adult, he's gotta feel out what he wants to do bro" Anthony told him,
"I guess, I just wish this didn't happen- at least Erika's getting what she deserves..." Chance said bitterly.

"What do you mean by that?" Anthony asked, "Huh? Oh well bro, she's not posting to her socials anymore, the Jake Paulers ate her alive after figuring out they split, its kinda obvious she was the bad one here" Chance said with a scoff, "And?" Anthony questioned, "And, I sure she's having a hard time trying to get a job with that baby...Little tramp deserves it" Chance said with a wicked grin, "Whatever you say bro, but I wouldn't advise you talking about Erika like that around Jake..." Anthony told him raising his eyesbrows at his friend, Chance rolled his eyes,
"I don't think he'd care" He said, "Okay..." Anthony said with a shrug, before leaving the room.

Erika's POV
*Being a single mother isn't easy, even with my Cousin...Kelly doesn't stay with us anymore, since I can't really give her work due to me not being a vlogger anymore...I couldn't have afforded to pay her, even if I was still doing that work with the baby, it grows out of clothes so fast, it eats so much, it never gives me a break! I'm honestly going crazy, I really wish it had a dad to help out. I can't get in contact with the childs father anymore, so I guess I can forget about child support. Even though there's some hard feelings between us, I wonder what Jake's doing everyday, under another account I watch his vlogs and follow his socials with bittersweet feelings*
