Alissa:I know this is weird, but before you block me, listen to what I have to say.

Jake:...

Alissa:After seeing the situation from a far, I realize how much it really sucks.

Alissa:I really messed up...

Jake:The heck are you talking about? Stop cluttering my phone.

Alissa:You and Erika.

Jake:Don't meantion her...Besides what do you care about that?

Alissa:We had some history Jake, I know its over now but...

Alissa:Seeing a situation like this, without being involved in it makes me realize I did wrong.

Jake:What does it matter now?

Alissa:There's no reason we can't reconnect and be friends, right?

Jake:...

Alissa:Jake?

Jake's thumbs hovered over his keypad thinking about texting back, but just when he was about to the car parked, and his friends were telling him to get out.
"Come on Jake, don't get absorbed into that phone, remember you loved being a social butterfly"
Chance said grabbing Jake's wrist getting him out of the car, following Anthony into the club,
where they could hear the loud music from the outside, after the three showed their I.D's
they were allowed into the place.

"Let's get lit!" Anthony said grinning, "Your not going to regret this Jake" Chance said patting his back, Jake chuckled a bit, silently a bit happy his friends thought enough of him to try and bring him out. Slowly as the night went on, Jake kept drifting to the corner of the club, but was always brought back out by Chance, who kept trying to keep him involved, even after Anthony went off to start getting some drinks.

"Let's dance bro!" Chance urged Jake, as a new song started to play, Jake eventually got into it starting to dance as the music blared, "There you go!" Chance said laughing, "Thanks for bringing me out bro" Jake said quietly, "Huh?" Chance questioned, "Thanks for bring me out!" Jake said a little louder, to be heard over the music, "No probably bro!" Chance said back,
"Ohio looks out for each other!" Chance said, just as Anthony rejoined them.

"Tony! Where have you been bro?" Chance asked, "Getting lit- here" Anthony said handing them both bottles of alcohal, "Um..." Chance mumbled looking at Jake, remembing his friend didn't like drinking, "Its fine, I'm not being a wuss tonight" Jake said grabbing the bottle downing some of the stinging liquid, it hurt, but it did help loosen him up, making him forget about Erika a little more.

"YeAAAh!" Anthony shouted excited for his friend, "Whoa, alright then Ohio boy" Chance chuckled before taking a swig of his drink as well, Jake could feel himself loosening up a bit more as he drunk more his morals seeming to seem more and more dim, as bad judment
and upset feelings mixed into him.

"Turn that freakin' music up!" Jake shouted, getting some cheers from the crowd
as the Dj turned it up giving a thumbs-up to Jake, as he continued dancing,
"Yeah get it boy!" Anthony shouted, before shouting out some lyrics to the song playing,
Jake felt his adrenline pumping, as the alcohal took over his still fragile mind, the smell
of the musty club house going through his nostrils along with sweat and conflicted bodily fragrance.

Jake looked arcoss the dance floor, seeing a couple of girls standting at the bar chatting, he licked his lips before crusing over, without his bestfriends noticing.

"Hey ladies" Jake said his speech slightly slurred, "Hi" One said grinning, while the other twirlled her finger around her hair, biting her lip looking up and down at Jake's expensive clothing. "What's your names?" Jake asked leaning agaist the bar stand, "I'm Amy" One girl
with blonde hair spoke, "Bobbi" The other said, "You trying to dance?" Jake asked grabbing Amy's hand, "It depends, are you buying drinks?" She asked coyly, Jake scoffed, before tossing money in her face, which her and Bobbi quickly stuffed in their pockets and bras, before getting up following Jake to the dance floor.

Bobbi stood behind Jake rubbing her hands on his up and down his torso, pressing her body against his back, while Amy wrapped her arms around Jake's neck dancing with him in front,
having his hands on her hips, while she shook them for him, while the three danced against each other creating heated friction.

Jake's mind was still a little clouded from being buzzed, but he was enjoying himself, he wasn't looking for a relationship now- probably not ever, but he did want some contact, something to call 'cheap love', it was fast, it was nice, and it didn't make him feel so lonely, Erika left him a broken man, and he couldn't stand the emptiness she left him with.

"Bro, its getting kinda late, think we should head home?" Chance asked Anthony, "Its not THAT late bro, why are you in such a hurry?" Anthony asked slightly annoyed, "Because bro,
Jake has to work, he probably doesn't want to stay out this late" Chance told him, "Fine,
let's find him" Anthony said, the two searched for their friend for a little while, until they spotted him in the corner a girl gripping the sides of his face, while he was somewhat laid against the wall, so he was a little closer down by her level trying to close the distance for a kiss, while another girl was reaching around his pants grabbing at his wallet.

"The heck?!" Chance said going over, Anthony walked over as well in shock, "Yo, Jake!" Chance said loudly, making the girls jump some, before scattering away. "Wh-at do yooou want?" Jake slurred sounding a bit irritated, "What are you doing bro?" Anthony asked snickering,
"Getting some baddies" Jake said standing up straight, "I think you need to go home" Chance told him, Jake gave them the finger rolling his eyes, "Forget that!" he slurred.

"Let's go" Chance said getting under one of Jake's arms guiding him out, while Anthoy was still laughing as he opened doors for them, and Jake continued to slur out complaints, Chance was smiling too, but deep inside he was getting concerned for his friend.

Chance knew Jake wasn't exactly happy since Erika broke his heart, he honestly hadn't forgave her for what she'd done to his bestfriend either. Chance also knew from being around Jake so much, that he did not stay out of some sort of a relationship for long, he hated being alone, even if the relationship he ended up getting wormed into turned out to be toxic.
*I just hope he doesn't let someone worse into his life, cause of how low he's feeling* Chance thought.
