"Jake...Jake, what's wrong?" Erika asked wiping his tears with her thumb, Jake captured her hand kissing it,
"I don't want to lose this again..." Jake said quietly, "Your not going too" Erika told him before kissing him softly again, Jake put back on his mask taking in a deep breath of oxygen, still holding her hand.
"So...we're like, are we Jerika again?" Jake asked her, "I'd love that" Erika said smiling, Jake was about to speak again, when Logan came in the room.
"Uh Jake, could I speak with you?" Logan asked, "Alone?" Erika asked starting to get up, "No, don't go anywhere" Jake spoke his voice still raspy, Erika looked at Logan a bit unsure of what to do, "That's fine,
stay, I just talked to the Doctor and they told me about Jake's condition" Logan said walking to his brother, he could already see Jake looking a little bitter, which he chuckled at.
"Still hate hospital visits, hmm?" Logan questioned, "What'd the Doctor say?" Jake muttered,
"Well he said the bullet actually travled from your upper back into your lung...That's why your on this machine" Logan explained, watching as Erika looked horrified, and Jake just looked away,
"Is he gonna be alright?" Erika asked nervously, "I-I'm not sure...The Doctor said he has a better chance at his lung not collapsing now that he's actually up, he's gonna need a while to recover in the hospital though" Logan said with a bittersweet tone, "WHAT!?" Jake yelled his voice raspy and not nearly as loud as it was suppose to be, just after he held he started coughing, "Jake you gotta chill bro, breath in slowly" Logan instructed him, holding Jake's shoulder as he breathed in the oxygen with a shuddered breath,
"I can't stay here, I have a business to run, vlogs to shoot" Jake said still sounding frustrated,
"Jake, we're gonna help you with all of it, don't worry so much" Logan told him trying to calm him down,
"We'll be right here" Erika assured him, Jake silently nodded.
"Thats my boy, I'll go let the Team know you'll be here for a while, I'll contact manager Kevin too" Logan said, "Thanks bro" Jake said quietly, "I got you" He said grinning before walking out, Erika walked over hugging him, "This gives us more time to sort us out- or should I say you" Jake said slyly, making Erika blush a bit embarassed, "I guess we should address the elephant in the room..." Erika muttered, "And that is?" Jake questioned, "Jackie..." Erika said nervously, "Who's-?" Jake was starting to ask, but Erika quickly spoke up, "My daughter...Jackie Costell" She said.
