Chapter 35 Death of Love

"Yaah Yeeet!" Logan shouted coming into the Team 10 house, "Yo" Chance said from where he sat on the couch,
"What are you doing here?" Kade asked, "I'm here to see my baby brother, he told him earlier that he could move his arm and hand a little, so I decided to drop by and celebrate" Logan said as he walked around looking for him, "He's not here" Anthony told him, he stood at on the stairs looking down at Logan,
"Where is he?" Logan questioned, "He went to visit 'Ebony'" Anthony said, Logan chuckled, "Thats my boy!
I swear Jake's like a rabbit, he don't stop!" Logan said doing a few lewd movments, before laughing again
having a few of the guys chuckling with him.

"I'm surprised he's not back yet..." Anthony said frowning, "Why? You heard him the other day" Chance said,
"He's in love" He said with air quotes, Anthony just frowned before slinking away,
"Is he good?" Logan questioned arching a eyebrow, "Don't mind him, he was acting that was earlier too" Nick said rolling his eyes, Logan laughed again, before jumping and falling back down on the couch, "Well, since Jake's out gettin' it, wanna see the gifts I got him for his recovery?" Logan asked, "Might as well" Nick said, while the others swarmed around.

Anthony shuffled back to his room, while texting Lauren, it'd only been a little while since they started really speaking to one another, but the two somewhat got along pretty well, and Anthony had even convinced her to start back at least texting Erika.

Anthony:Yo

Lauren:Hi 😊

Anthony:Have you spoken to Erika today??

Lauren:Um, yeah, a bout a hour or so ago...

Anthony:What'd she say?

Lauren:She was upset, she didn't say why though...Why?

Anthony:...Ask her if she spoke to Jake

Lauren:Okay? Is something going on?? 😶

Anthony:Maybe...

Anthony leaned against the wall waiting for Lauren, a little confused
as to why Jake didn't return home, thinking Erika had confessed already,
in his mind, he assumed they had a heated argument, and Jake would have been home,
to complain to everyone about his ex already.

Lauren:You there?

Anthony:Yeah, what did Erika say?

Lauren:She said not really, she saw him without her wig and junk, and she freaked out and closed the door in his face 😒

Anthony:Wait...How long ago??

Lauren:I guess a few hours, why?

Anthony:Cause he's not home yet.

Lauren:Maybe he needed a breather?

Anthony:I don't think Jake was mad at Erika really, and he usually only likes being alone when he's angry...

Lauren:What do you think happened? 😮

Anthony:My guess, is he went out drinking, or something bad happened...

Lauren:Oh my...What are you going to do?

Anthony:Go look for him

Lauren:I'll come to!

Anthony:Alright, I'll be there soon.

Anthony shoved his phone back in his pocket, going downstairs where everyone else was chilling on their phones or watching tv. "Hey Tony, you gonna sit?" Chance asked from where he sat, "Nah, I'm going out" Anthony said walking towards the door, "A simple, 'Logan you smell' would have been enough" Logan muttered in a joking manner,
"I'm not leaving cause of you- now I don't have time for chatting, later" Anthony said walking out closing the door behind him, he got in Jake's truck before taking off, hoping it'd be easy to find him, he tried calling Jake, but he only got his voicemail.

Soon Anthony pulled up to Lauren's hotel picking her up, she hopped in the passenger seat, and they were on their way once again.

"Did you get in contact with Jake?" Lauren asked, "Nope, he won't answer me, I'm gonna just track his phone" Anthony said, "This is getting a little spooky" Lauren said nervously, "He's probably just at a club or something, don't worry" Anthony said, Lauren just nodded watching the buildings as they passed by.

Jake had drove downtown, where more homeless people, and rachet buildings were, it was a good ways away from where he usually was, being in the better parts of the city, it took him a while to get all the way down there and find the address of some abandoned building. Jake frowned as he parked his car and got out, he really didn't want to be there, but didn't want to seem like a jerk, just because he was hurt Erika didn't want him around, Jake walked into the building a little confused, why the heck would Banks want him to come in such a digusting place to talk?

"Yo, Banks?" Jake called out, his voice echoing in the building, Jake continued searching around, jumping a little as a rat ran beside his foot, "Hello!?" Jake shouted, "Jake Paul" Jake heard a voice behind him,
he was about to turn around recognizing Banks' voice, but something cold pressing against the back of his head stopped him, and a gun cocking up made him tense. "Don't move another inch"
