Chapter 43 Welcome Home

"What do you think he's gonna do first?" Chance asked, "If I were him, I'd have a nap in my own bed finally" Anthony said, "If his voice is any better, yell at you all for your incompetence!" Nick said still slightly scolding their rowdy behavior, "I wonder if he still feels the same" Lauren commented, "He might feel the same, but honey he's hit!" Chad joked, "You better hope he's still weak,or he'd knock you out for that" Kade told him, before they started laughing again, Erika stood with the group holding Jackie, who had her head switching from side to side listening at the group as they chattered, Erika laughed a little patting her head, as she soaked in the excitment for his arrival, even Greg and Pam were there.

The group had set up a party welcoming Jake home from the hospital, and were currently waiting on Logan to bring him home, they were hoping to surprise him, they had gotten TacoBell for the party
along with cake, icecream, sodas, ballons and a huge banner. "Yo, yo, yo!" Chad said peering out the curtains, "That's Logan's car, here he comes!" Chad whispered, "Let's hide, let's hide!" Pam said shushing everyone, Greg went to turn off the lights while everyone hid behind furniture, quietly giggling, as they heard Jake and Logan's voices getting louder and louder as they approached the door, the key jiggled in for a bit before the door opened up.

"Am I being a brat? I'm not being a brat!" Jake complained still in a slightly goofy voice,
"You are" Logan told him, "You are" Jake copied him, "Are you mocking me?" Logan questioned,
"Are you mocking me?" Jake said in a whiny voice, while Logan shook his head and turned on the lights. "Surpise! The Team shouted camera flashed going off, as the got pictures of Jake's surpised face, while Logan leaned back on the wall with his arms folded grinning at his shocked younger brother.

"Wh-What?" Jake questioned gasping a bit, as he looked at all the decorations, the food, along with his friends and family, "Welcome home Jakey!" Chance said, Erika went up to him putting her hand on his shoulder leaning up to kiss his cheek, (getting a few disaproving looks) Erika giggled as Jake still looked shocked
at the whole event, "What is all this?" Jake questioned looking around, "A welcome home party you moron" Nick informed him, "Nick Cromptin insulting me" Jake said taking a deep breath in, before letting it out, "Feels like home" He said nodding his head, making everyone laugh, "Hi honey, how do you feel?" Pam asked walking over making some distance between him and Erika, "I'm fine mom, honestly" Jake said chuckling, as she grabbed Jake squishing his face, kissing his cheeks and forehead, "My little baby boy in the hospital, I'm sorry I wasn't here sooner sweetie" Pam said looking at him with concerned eyes, "He's not a baby, he's a savage!" Greg said walking over clapping his hand roughly on his shoulder making him stumbble a bit,
everyone glanced at him frowning at that.

"I'm good, just a little tired" Jake told them calming everyone down as he laughed, "Come over here, we got your favorite bro~" Chad said teasing him while he inhaled a burrito, "Yo! Ya'll got it lit in here!" Jake said grinning, before he slipped away from his parents and Erika to get some food, Erika wattched him leave smiling in his direction, she suddenly felt a little off, and looked around only to notice Jake's parents were staring at her, she smiled a bit, and they both walked away going to mingle, *Well thats odd...* Erika thought shuddering, "Come on Jackie, wanna go play? Yes you do" Erika said tickling Jackie making her giggle, before she went to sit on the couch, letting her daughter rest on it too instead of in her arms, Jackie sat up on her own, watching people talking, eating and listening to music, seeming very intrested in the whole thing, "Soak it in sweetheart, cause if your anything like your mama, you'll be going to tons of these" Erika told her laughing, after a while of looking Erika noticed Lauren was missing, so she started to text her.

Erika:Lo?

Erika:LOOOOO??

Erika:Lauren?

Erika:What the heck girl!?

Lauren started trying to speak her voice muffled as she slowly pulled away from Anthony, Anthony was sitting on his gaming chair, with Lauren sitting in his lap, both involved in a heated makeout session,
Lauren quickly grabbed her phone responding.

Lauren:Got lost, big mansion, I'll be right there! :)

She pecked Anthony's lips, while they both went back to the party, Lauren trying not to look so flustered.
