Chapter 31 Reconnect

Jake was sitting at the breakfast table, staring down at his food, while his friends that stood around him
ate and talked. The team ten members tried to cheer Jake up earlier when they'd heard him shouting about his arm, but he ended up just pretending he shrugged off being worried to ease their minds, but inside it was eating him alive. Jake branded himself as a energetic young man, running around doing crazy savage stuff, he was a active person and to lose feeling in his arm, was a very scary thought to him.

"Jake are you okay?" Chance asked noticing Jake was being silent, Jake looked up from his plate glaring at him, "Funny you of all people, would ask" Jake grumbled at him, causing a few glances their way,
"Jake, I'm sorry" Chance said sadly, "Your sorry, and I might lose my arm!" Jake shouted at him
shocking Chance, "Alright Jake, none of that talk" Logan told him firmly, "Am I not allowed to be upset?" Jake questioned angrily, "That's not what I mean- I meant no talk about losing your arm, your not losing anything Jake" Logan said trying to help his brother feel better, Jake stared at him for a while
before he stood up dropping his napkin down, "I'm done eating" he mumbled before leaving out,
hearing Logan and the Team ten members start to mutter to one another about what to do for him.

As Jake walked heading back to his room, he bumped into Ebony, whom was dressed and fixed up now.
"J-Jake?" Ebony stuttered, "Ebony?" Jake said tilting his head, "Why are you here?" He questioned,
"Don't you remember last night?" She asked, "Did we smash?" Jake asked, making her do a nervous laugh
as her face turned red, "Jake!" She scolded him, "I was just joking" Jake said with a small smiled,
"I came to see you in the hospital, and your brother invited me to stay with here afterwards" Ebony explained, "Wow" Jake said in slight awe, "What?" Ebony questioned, "I didn't expect you to actually come see me in the hospital or anything" Jake laughed, "Why? I care about you" She said smiling, Jake blushed a little, "Thanks I...I'm going through some junk right now, that was really nice to hear" Jake told her,
Ebony giggled before hugging him, wrapping her slender arms around his strong torso, being careful not to hit his injuried arm.

Jake rubbed Ebony's back with his working hand before she pulled away, "Hey, I know this is kinda crazy or whatever, but, if you aren't busy with anything, can you stay with me today?" Jake asked, "Um, what does that mean?" Ebony asked frowning, "Well I mean, its gonna be kinda suck for me to do anything with a messed up arm, can you come with me to meetings, and help me film for my vlog?" Jake asked her grinning, "Hmmm, what's in it for me?" Ebony asked him folding her arms, "Me?" Jake said his smile getting wider as Ebony rolled her eyes, "I'm joking! I'll help you with your instagram, might even get you verified" Jake told her with a wink, "Re-really!?" She asked clapping her hands in excitement, "Yeah of course, so are you down?" Jake asked, "I'm so down!" She squealed, "Let's get out of here then" Jake said, before walking out with Ebony, as they left Jake leading the way, 'Ebony' couldn't help but feel a bit giddy, going out with Jake like she use to, just the two of them, suddenly she got a shuddering feeling causing her to look over her shoulder, and through the mansion window, she saw Anthony standing there sipping some coffee, she instantly felt beads run over her whole body, as he smirked at her. It was obvious Anthony hadn't told her secret...yet, but having someone like him hold her deepest secret scared her, he could say something to anyone at anytime, and that ittle smirk was driving her nuts.

"Ebony, hop in, let's gooooo!" Jake urged her, she quickly shook out of her daze, only to notice Anthony had already left the window, she shuddered once more before walking to the car, frowning in confusion noticing Jake was in the passenger seat, "Um? Am I driving?" Ebony asked, "Well yeah, I'm a good driver and all, but I can actually only use the one hand, so just to be safe" Jake said with a shrug, "Just to be safe?" She snorted gettiing into the driver's seat, "Am I actually talking to Jake Paul?" Ebony questioned making Jake laugh a little before just staring at her.
