Chapter 9 Lying Love

After Jake and Erika had finished breakfast in bed together, they showered together,
both putting on their clothes for the day, running a few errands, and getting vlog content,
before they started Jake's 'click bait' clip for his vlog later in the day.

Erika sat next to Jake, feeling so nervous she could shake, but she kept a smile on her
face, as Jake fixed up the camera across the table for them, he looked at Erika kissing
her. "Are you sure your comfortable with this right now?" Jake asked with concern,
"I'm fine baby" Erika assured him kissing Jake back, "Okay, man this is insane Erika,
we're gonna be parents" Jake chuckled before rubbing Erika's stomach tenderly
making her blush a bit.

Jake then turned the camera on. "Ya! As promised, you guys, the Jake Paulers-
most lit family, to the most lit YouTube channel, get to see Jerika," Jake said grabbing
Erika's face mushing it against his own, Erika laughed a bit, before Jake let her go,
"We're gonna tell our family Erika's pregnant -which is actually real this time!
We're telling them that, and after letting them freak out, we're gonna show them Erika's
ring, and let them know we're actually getting married too" He said,
"Sorry mom" Erika quickly said, "Sorry, not sorry!" Jake shouted laughing.

"Okay, who should we call first, mine or yours?" Jake asked, "Let's get mine over with" Erika decided, "YES! Thanks Erika" Jake said, as Erika rolled her eyes, and started to dial her Mother: Angel's number, putting the call on speaker.

"Hi mom," Erika said sounding unnerved, "Hi, what's going on Erika?" Angel asked, "I've got something to tell you..." Erika said swallowing nervously, "We've got something to tell you" Jake chimed in, "Jake your there too?" Angel questioned sounding skeptical.

"Yeah, its kind of a both of us announcement" Jake said with a goofy chuckle, "What's going on, am I being pranked?" Angel asked clearly use to Jake's antics, "You aren't being pranked mom, this is a serious matter, I need to tell you everyone else" Erika said anxiously,

"You sound serious, if you're pranking me I'm gonna be mad Erika Costell!" Angel warned her,
"We're not pranking anyone, honest, we're actually at a loss of what to do" Jake said sounding serious and shaky, "Well what in the world is it?!" Angel questioning getting anxious herself, feeling her heart speed up.

"I'm pregnant" Erika bluntly spoke, "No way! This has to be a prank" Angel said, "Nope, Erika took the test and everything" Jake told her, "We're not kidding mom, I've already started having some morning sickness, it's not noticeable but I've started gaining some weight too" Erika told her, even though this was just for a video, Erika couldn't help but want to actually tell her mom what was going on. *You're pregnant with someone else's child, can't run to mama now* Erika reminded herself sadly.

"I cannot believe this! You two are actually serious!? If you are your both so irresponsible!" Angel scolded, "We had a heated night, you can't blame us" Jake spoke nonchalantly, "I can too! Thanks to you my baby's pregnant!" Angel shouted, Jake looked at Erika holding back a laugh as he nudged her, Erika grinned back, but quickly looked back at the phone, feeling her heartbeat start to speed up *Its not thanks to Jake I'm pregnant* Erika thought, nibbling her bottom lip as guilt flooded her mind.

"Chill out" Jake told Angel, "CHILL OUT!? You need to grow up Jake Paul! You're bringing another human into this world! Don't you think you should be a little more concerned with all this!" Angel shouted at Jake clearly getting outraged, Erika started to hear her Dad's voice (Dan) in the background questioning what was going on.

"They're gonna kill me" Jake giggled in delight, "We should tell them" Erika whispered back, "Okay, okay!" Jake laughed, "Jake! I was starting to think you were better than that, how can you-!" Dan was ranting when Jake turned off the phone requesting a facetime, baffling the two outraged parents for a few seconds, before they started to answer.
