The sun dimly shone through the somewhat thick curtains, otherwise the room was dark.
Jake laid in bed, blanket loosely covering his body, Jake stared at the curtain covered window, his fist up to his mouth his teeth lightly
holding it, as his mind replayed his 'wedding' in his head. *"I'm not joking Jake- I ran some test, this is not your child, I cheated on you....And I've lied to you"* Jake's body shuddered, hearing Erika's words ring through his head again, just her voice hurt his heart, but he still couldn't get it out of his head, the events, the baby, Erika, watching her leave.

Jake remembered everyones voice fading as he finally shook out of Erika's stunning confession,
he tried to follow her but eventually stopped, unsure what he'd even say after he caught up.

It had been three months and a half since everything went down, Jake's parents stayed arund for the first few days to try and help their baby boy, but he eventually convinced them to go home to Ohio, and that he'd be okay- he'd been everything that though, he kept uploading his vlogs like nothing happened, he tried to stay upbeat with a camera on his face, but off camera, he felt like a wreck, he was tempted to call up Erika every single day, but everytime he tried, he stopped himself, feeling as though he'd be pathetic to reach out to the girl who broke his heart, and left him standing at the alter, not too long ago.

"Jake?" Chance said knocking on the bedroom door, Jake glanced at the door before looking at the clock, it was getting a little late, compared to how early he usually got up.
"Whats up bro?" Jake responded, his voice somewhat raspy, "Can I come in?" Chance asked cautiously, "Why not?" Jake said getting up, he saw the door creak open and shut as Chance came in.

"Hey bro...How are you feeling?" Chance asked sitting on Jake's bed, "I'm...I'm fine bro" Jake lied, "Come off it, Jake your hearbroken, I can see it- but you got to forget about her, you got to get back to just living life" Chance told him, hating to see Jake look so miserable,
"What life?" Jake questioned, Chance sighed putting his arm around Jake's shoulders.

"At least go out somewhere, you've only been out of the house for work nowadays, what happened to old Jake? You loved going outside, being in the sunshine, meeting people,
now I hardly ever see you" Chance said sounding a bit sad himself, "Chance bro, I'm gonna be honest, I'm not even sure what I'm doing right now, I just feel so stupid- Bro, I still have a nursery set up for OUR baby- I just..." Jake stuttered in frustration, before putting his head down in his hands, "Jake, Jake...Listen, why don't you go out tonight? Me, you and Tony?
You'll forget about everything, and just enjoy your time out huh?" Chance suggested,
"Bro I don't wanna be seen, this stuff is all over the news, I'm gonna be bombarded with questions, I don't wanna deal with that..." Jake mumbled, "Don't worry about it bro, just promise you'll try to have fun, come on please?" Chance asked, Jake looked at him, seeing his concerned smile, before he finally sighed and agreed, he hated the lack of human contact anyways, Jake had never waited long to be involved with someone, or do something, even if it wasn't a relationship, going out could be just what he needed.

"You won't regret it bro!" Chance said jumping up, "Maybe" Jake mumbled.

It was later that night when the Trio was leaving, Jake had ended up sitting in the backseat of his tesla, while they were on their way to some party his friends reccomended. Chance and Anthony were lively talking while Jake remained somewhat quiet, until something caught his attention, he looked down at his buzzing phone seeing he'd gotten a text.
Jake's eyes widening seeing the name andd number that texted him:Alissa Violet.
