Chapter 30 Finding Fate

Erika woke up with a yawn, she tried to get up finding it a little difficult, she looked around confused
then noticed Jake's arm was still on her, she slowly got it off, and he rolled on his back snoring, Erika smiled bittersweetly at his sleeping face, before she jumped up realizing her makeup was all smeared and her wig was all messed up on her head, revealing some of her brunette hair, she quickly got out of bed running to the bathroom slamming the door shut, her breathing picking up as her heart thumped in her chest from fear of being caught, she quickly started trying to fix her face and wig in the mirror.

Jake slowly got up from his bed, a little confused, when he tried to use both hands to sit himself up,
he winced, cursing loudly as pain went through him, feeling all his nerves in his right arm
stinging as though thousands of bees were stinging him, Jake's arm gave out as he collapsed back unto his bed facing up at the ceiling.

Jake looked at his arm throughly confused seeing it all wrapped up, then it slowly started to come back to him, The wine, the glass and the fall... Jake groaned in pain rolling over to his side,
he got his feet over the side of the bed, and stood up sliding his feet in his gucci flip-flops,
he started to walk towards his door, wanting to ask his friends just what happened, since he was foggy on the actual hospital visit.

just before Jake opened the door, it opened for him, revealing Logan. "Jake your up" Logan said with a little smile as he looked him over, "You certainly are still as loud, as ever" He said laughing, "I barely said a word" Jake huffed, "Bro, I heard you, you woke up swearing" Logan said, "That's because my arm feels like its on fire- what happened?" Jake asked, Logan's smile soon faded, "Its a long explanation, but basically the glass was shoved far in, they took it out, and you got a little nerve damage on the way" Logan explained,
"What!?" Jake questioned, "Calm down, You'll be fine" Logan assured him, "Oh, so how long am I gonna have this cast on?" Jake asked calming down a little, "Um, they didn't say, sorry bro- but on the bright side,
your in pain right?" Logan asked smiling, "Why are you smiling?" Jake asked frowning at him,
"Because, your doctor said, if those feelings go away, you might be losing feelings in your arm,
cause of your nerves" Logan explained slowly, watching the horror on Jakes face.

"Like I could actually lose my arm?!" Jake shouted, gettimg some other Team 10 memebers alerted,as well as Ebony.
'Ebony' froze in Jakes bedroom staring into the mirror, *He could what...?* She questioned in her head, fear rising in her mind and heart.
