"Jake I heard about what happened" Ebony whispered after she been leaned over in silence for minutes just holding Jake, "What happened?" Jake questioned, "You getting hurt- I came as fast as I could" Ebony said,
"Okay cool, are you coming home with me?" Jake asked still sounding a bit out of it, Ebony blushed a bit,
"I can't, we barely know each other" She told him, "You can get to know me, I'm lots of fun, truuuuust me" Jake slurred, Ebony giggled kising his forehead, "I know you are" She said softly, Jake started to sit up
with some difficulty due to his wrapped up arm, Ebony grabbed his left arm helping him sit up, and he gave a her a goofy grin in return before wrapping his working arm around her pulling her in.
"Skip those friendly kisses, come on pretty lady givve me sometttthhhhing" Jake told her, Ebony blushed even more as she slipped a bit laying on Jake by accident. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry" Ebony apologized,
"I'm not complaining" Jake said with a wonky wink making her giggle again.
"Hey Jake, the nurse is gonna be here with your cha..i..r?" Logan was saying as he came in, till his eyes fell on the female laying across his still slightly confused looking brother,
"Um, excuse me? Who are you?" Logan asked frowning, Ebony froze a little, but slowly got off of Jake
who whined a little in protest, "Um, I'm a friend of Jake's" Ebony said quietly while keeping her back to Logan, "Ha, you look like more then a friend" Logan laughed, "Jake is this another one of your 'booty-calls'?" Logan asked walking over, "Uhhh, I don't know??" Jake said confused, "We haven't done anything like that!" Ebony quickly said getting flustered, "What about the parking lot?~" Jake reminded her,
making her blush, "Okay, well whoever you are, I'm gonna take Jake home now," Logan said walking over to help his brother out of bed, Jake stumbling as he got up Logan under his arm helping him up, his hand on Jake's back, while Ebony watched from the corner biting her lip.
"Sit him right down here" A Nurse said coming in with a wheel chair, "I don't need all this really!" Jake complained as he was sat down, "You need some rest" Logan told him, laughing as Jake rolled his eyes, as he was wheeled out. "Oh, yo, yo yo Eb's you can come chill at my crib, give me all the healing ya want" Jake suggested arching his eyebrows winking at Ebony, making Logan laugh and the Nurse shake her head,
"You can catch a ride with us, if your actually coming" Logan said surprising Ebony, he noticed the look on her face and laughed, "Hey, if I had a chance to have a pretty girl in my house when I got off my medication
and Jake kept her from me, I'd be angry- so come on!" Logan said waving her over, Ebony nervously followed her head down, praying no one recognized her, Logan laughed again rubbing Jake's head, "Don't say I never did anything nice for you" He said.
The three soon made it in the car, where Jake soon fell asleep, he was in the back seat, while Ebony was told to come in the passengers, which became awkward for her now basically being alone with Logan.
"So, how long have you known Jake? Has it been a while or did he just approach you randomly?" Logan asked,
"He actually did approach me randomly, we took a picture for my instagram and exchanged numbers" Ebony told him, Logan nodded leaning on his steering wheel as he made a turn, "Sorry about that...If you think your getting a relationship, I'm sorry- but if not have fun" Logan said with a bittersweet smile, "What do you mean?" Ebony questioned, "I'm not gonna spill his business, but I don't think Jake wants more then a couple
of one-night stands with pretty girls like yourself" Logan told her, "Is it because of 'Erika'?" Ebony asked sadly, Logan looked at her briefly, "Did he meantion her?" Logan asked shocked, "He did..." Ebony said looking out the window, "Oh...Well I guess you know it was a bad break up the little dog left him at the alter" Logan said aggresivly gripping the wheel, remembering the shock and hurt look on Jake's face as he stood there.
"I'm sorry that happened...Do you know why Erika left?" Ebony asked quietly, "She got knocked up cheating, serves her right, keeping the baby alone, she dissappeared off social media too" Logan explained, "It was probably just a dumb mistake though" She said argued, "Some mistakes can't be forgiven" Logan said harshly, "How do you know? They must have been truly in love for Jake to be so upset she's gone, and I know for a frickin' fact Erika misses him more then anything, and would litterally do ANYTHING to have their relationship back, to be in Jake's arms, to feel that love every day, to be back with her other half!" Ebony said her voice raising as she spoke feeling her eyes burn as small tears started to come down,
her voice going more and more emotional.
Logan was silent as he pulled up to Jake's mansion, Ebony felt her heart pounding cursing herself out in her head for yelling out like that, she glanced at Logan before looking down, "Are you a friend of Erika's?" Logan asked staring ahead after he parked the car, "I am" Ebony choked out, Logan nodded, "You seem like a nice girl, getting away from Erika is your best move" Logan told her before getting out of the car,
he opened the back sat getting Jake out, he held him next to his chest, his feet dangling above the ground, as Logan strained taking him back in the house, while Ebony just sat quietly.
*How could almost blow my own cover like that...* Erika thought, she was about to get out of the car, when her phone lit up, she looked down seeing a text from her cousin, she quickly started to read and reply.
Lauren:Is Jake okay?
Erika:Yeah I guess, his hand and arm was wrapped up when I got there.
Lauren:Did you talk to him?
Erika:A little, but I think he was still out of it, I guess he had some medicine...
Laren:Are you on your way back?
Erika:Uh no, I'm sleeping over Jake's house
Lauren:ERIKA! 😠
Erika:What?
Lauren:Don't 'What' me! You're leaving me with Jackie, AGAIN!
Erika:I'm making the money!
Lauren:This is your child! I could move back to Tennessee and have a job with NO child!
Erika:Lauren please...I need time 😞
Lauren:Okay, but don't even think about staying more then one night, I'm not taking care of Jackie forever...
Erika:Okay, okay! Thanks this has been hard on me too Lauren, I'm not just here for a good time
Lauren:Whatever
Erika:Thanks again Lauren! ❤
Lauren:Goodnight.
'Ebony' sighed in relief, she lifted her head from looking down at her phone, about to open her car door, but it opened for her, she looked up seeing Anthony standing there.
"Oh heheh, you scared me, thanks" Ebony said getting out, Anthony slowly grinned at her,
"Sorry, I was just wondering what was taking you so long, Logan said you were out here" Anthony said,
"I didn't mean to make anyone worry" Ebony said with a nervous laugh, "That's alright," Anthony said putting his hands in his pockets, Ebony smiled at him, "So Your all done out here then...Erika?" Anthony questioned, 'Ebony's' smile slowly turned to a dumbfounded expression as she stared at Anthony who still had his wicked grin in place.
