Chapter 44 Forever for Not

Jake the team and his family were sitting around eating cake, and talking to one another,
until Jake suddenly got up and left going into the other room. "What were you doing?" Erika questioned Lauren before she frowned sniffing her, "You smell like cologne...Is that Tony's?" Erika questioned
grinning as Lauren's face slowly got red, "It is! Oh my gosh!" Erika exclaimed laughing,
"Shut up!" Lauren yelled through gritted teeth, "Aww Lauren and Anthony sitting in a tree~" Erika started to sing before Lauren covered her mouth, "Shut up goat!" Lauren yelled again before looking around frantically hoping no one heard her.

"Hey girls, do you know where Jake went?" Logan asked standing over them, while they were laughing on the couch, Erika was about to speak up before Jake made his way back into the room, "Oh there he is, hey Jakey-" Logan was saying before Jake interrupted, "Get out of the way Logan" Jake told him, making Logan joking place his hand over his heart, and step to the side, Jake started walking up to the couch, he grabbed Lauren by her hand pulling her to her feet, moving her away, making her look at him confused, "What are you doing?" Erika questioned laughing a little, Jake grinned before getting down to his knee.

Erika's chest felt tight as her heart started to beat faster and faster, she tried to think of any other reason to why he was doing what he was, but as he looked up at her from where he kneeled and their eyes met
all she could think of was him.

"Erika Costell? What do you say we give it one last shot, will you marry me?" Jake asked revealing Erika's ring she had left when she left Jake at the alter months ago, Erika put her hand over her mouth as her eyes started to tear up. "Are you serious?" Erika gasped out, "Dead" Jake told her, before Erika started nodding her head frantically, as she started to hysterical, when Jake grabbed her hand slowly putting the ring on it, before Erika could lean down and wrap her arms around Jake's neck to kiss him, Jake turned his attention to Jackie, who had been watching them beside Erika curiously, he then grabbed he smaller chubby hands making her giggle from his touch. "Jackie Costell? And will you accept me as your new daddy?" Jake asked her, making Erika tear up more, as Jake revealed a replica of Erika's ring, only brighter, with a lower shape for the gem, Jackie giggled kicking her little feet, as Erika watched them adoringly, "I think that's a yes" Jake said putting the ring on Jackie's finger, before kissing her forehead getting a sea of aww's from the party, Jake looked back at Erika who wrapped her arms around his neck staring into his eyes lovingly. "Thank you so much Jake" Erika whispered, "For what?" Jake whispered back Erika bit her lip looking him over, "For being you" Erika told him gently, before they kissed each other deeply.

"Jake Joseph Paul, are you retarded?!" Greg shouted, making Jake and Erika pull away from each other abruptly, "Get away from him you snake!" Pam yelled looking at Erika, The two getting everyone's attention.
