Chapter Twenty Three

For the past week, Hailey has been trying to keep a low profile.

She barely went outside in case she bounced into her mom by accident.

The only place she is other than home in school.

That is it.

She knows Seoul is really big and thing but her mom will do anything to get her back .

Anything.

Literally.

"It's finally Friday . Hallelujah, praise the Lord ," Taiis said with a sigh of relief before she began eating .

"You know. The week went really slowly," Mindi sighed.

"Lunchtime and after school are my favorite time of the day," Kewen said .

"Same here," Jungkook pipped.

"Any news on mom," Hailey whispered to Jimin .

Jimin shook his head slightly.

"Good," she mumbled.

"I'm surprised she didn't find you as yet ," he said .

"I hope she doesn't,"

"I know," he softly said ," let's just hope for the best."

The bell rang signally that lunch was over.

The girls and the boys went their separate ways to their classes.

As they walked down the hall , Taiis noticed someone at the corner looking at them.

"Is that Hannah by the corner there?" Kewen asked .

"I think so ," Taiis confirmed.

At that moment, she disappeared after glancing at Hailey .

"That weird, she just left," Kewen blinked.

"She probably went to class ," Nadia answered entering their class.

"Probably," Taiis unsurely answered before entering the classroom.

"Can Park Hailey please come down to the office ,"

In the middle of the last, the intercom announced that they wanted Hailey down the office.

"Why do you need to go down to the office?" Mindi asked .

"I don't know. I'll tell you when I come back ," she said exiting the class.

She was a bit puzzled by the sudden announcement .

Thinking that it wasn't something that important, she pushed the door to enter into the office.

There sitting comfortably was her mom.

Immediately, her eyes widened.

She attempted to leave .

"Don't you dare Park Hailey,"

"I don't care what you say . I'm not going back to study medical . Don't you understand! I enjoy music !" She shouted .

"Well to bad. I'm your mom and I already took you out the school ,"

"You did not," Hailey spat.
