A lot of writers (like me) tend to have multiple stories happening at the same time. Inspiration strikes when it strikes and we just need to flesh out that new idea. Cool.
What is irritating is when you start posting those works but you don't have enough material typed up/written down/outlined ready to go and post to keep everything updated on a consistent basis. So there end up being gaps and lulls and some stories get worked on more than others. But people are sucked in and when you don't update it but keep posting new shit it seriously irks the shit out of people. At least give an excuse.
Just a reader suggestion - post when you've got 5-10 chapters at the ready. OR don't post it at all until it's finished.
You're spreading yourself thin having too many unfinished/unplanned stories going at once and setting yourself and the reader up for disappointment and frustration. I'm not talking bout two or three stories. I'm talking six, seven, eight plus stories.
I'll throw myself under the bus. I'm working on six right now. Two are five to six chapters from being complete and they are already typed out. One is complete but not posted. The other three have at least ten chapters typed with the rest of it outlined.
So...yeah.
Am I too demanding? Too delusional? Thoughts?
