Writers are not perfect. Alot of us are flawed as fuck in some aspect of our lives. Even published authors/writers are flawed.
It's OKAY for your story to be a hot mess. Truly. First/rough drafts are seldom without any error. You know why they are called first/rough drafts? Because it the first jab at getting the damn story out of your head without any filters. It's meant to be shit. That's why there are stages called editing where you fix grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors and revising where you re-write or delete parts for consistency and flow.
I consider wattpad the place for my first/rough drafts. It let's me know:
1-If the story is utter trash (by show of votes/reads)
2-Allows me to get some peer review from other writers and readers (based on comments/emails)
3-As I re-read what I've posted I can see the errors/problems with plot etc. more clearly for when I go back to edit.
In Apex there is a part where the deaths are unclear. I took the feedback and wrote in my notes it's something to consider re-wording. In He Chose Me, several readers commented on a use of verbage during a scene. It will be changed in the next stage. I also noticed in some stories my spacebar and 'A' key seemed to not be working so guess what - in the revisions it will be dealt with.
Don't let perfectionism get in your way. I'm not saying that's easy. Most of us have assholes for inner critics. Think of it as a person: Tie it up in a corner, put a bag over its head, type your story, hit the publish button, and don't look back.
