So I'm not easily triggered or one to cry. I even avoid overly angsty stories or stories with sad endings or injustice. Life is depressing enough I don't want to read it too. Books/stories are my happy place.
I hate when an author starts a story and some really heart-wrenching shit comes up and they just stop writing.
This is worse than not giving the story an ending or a rushed ending. It's worse than grammar crimes or using ebonics in your entire story. It's worse than picture books or alarm clock beginnings. You just threw folk into this vat of emotions got them crying and boo-hooing, hearts aching and leave them in emotional turmoil.
Rude bastard!
Take the frickin' book down. Before anyone makes excuses, some of these writers are also readers and I see them voting/commenting on other folks' stuff so...NO FORGIVENESS.
