This has been happening to me a lot recently. I'll open up a book. The first chapter - a pic and character description. Next chapter - a pic and character description. The third and fourth and the actual story doesn't start until six chapters later.
Chile, bye.
The other thing that is just as bad is the first chapter is good. The next chapter is some quote. The next chapter is good. The next chapter is some quote. And on and on.
Breh. Seriously. If I wanted a shitload of quotes they have this sites that give you quotes all day long. Put the quote at the top of the chapter. Jeez. Just wasting time and digital space and making the chapter count higher than it really is.
