Chapter 18: we ran out of Advil

The  creaked open as Parker and Connor entered the house. "Wonder were they ran off too" Parker said, " Justin is probably still looking for Scarlet" Connor responds. "Should I go help, I feel bad that we went off to play mini golf" Parker pulls he hair back in a Ponytail. "No, we don't deal with their boyfriend and girlfriend drama, we have enough of our own" Connor gave Parker a kiss. They were sweet and cute together, with almost no issues, something I envy. " hold on" Parker starts towards the stairs, " I heard something up there".

I was reading a book in my room. Not really reading but waiting for something to happen. It was complete silence in the room next to me and I want to see what he was up to.

Connor went into Justin's room and saw Justin snoring in his bed. "Oh, he's a loud snorer, if he's sleeping, then who's looking for Scarlet" Parker realized. " shes probably fine" Connor treasures her. Parker notices me in the other room with a. Weird look on my face. She she cocks her head . " what is it?"Connor asked. " nothing" Parker said. She gave me a look "later" she whispers, "tell me later".

When their voices trail away I nestle back into my bed awkwardly. Finally something normal, Justin enters my room. "What am I to you, some one night stand that was used to get you distracted from Tharzius" Justin asked. I calm y remove my reading glasses and put my book down. "No, you weren't. But I've realized that kids o t he bleachers was irrational and stupid of me. So I'm not going to kiss you every time you want. Because I'm not your girl friend. What you said hurt, and you need to know that" I replied."what about the hand holding in the car" justin said. "Hand holding can be done by frieds, me and Parker do it all the time"

                                                          15 minutes later                                                                                                             " you had SEX with Justin wellington" Parker stomped into our room. I didnt know how to respond,"no, we didnt have sex, we didn't even kiss". " Sure..." Parker opens her suitcase and takes out a bottle of whiskey and a bag of potato chips. " I need this right now" she sighed. " We didnt have sex" i spoke up. "Dont lie to me" parker demanded. " What did you want us too?" i asked. " no, im happy you didnt. i dont want you to lose your v-card before me" Parker poped a potato chip in her mouth. " Parker you havent lost your v-card?" i said shocked. " NO, have you" Parker gasped. " Johnny from calabases that summer" I giggled. "I thought you were joking" Parker said.

" you almost had her" Connor said as they held glass cups up to our door. " typical Scarlet, always talking about me" justin boasts, "What are they saying now?". " um Justin Scarlet stopped talking" Connor said. Justin leans his head closer to the cup. Justin Connor pushed Justin and the  cup made a knock sound on the door. " you bitch" Justin picked up his cup.

Parker was quick to swing open the door. " what are you guys doing" she said noticing the cups. "Never mind, it's doesn't matter. Scarlet is having a stroke I think" parker explained. There I was, lying on the bed, pale and shaking. My veins seemed to be popping and regrowing and then popping. My head was exploding and my stomach pulled back. "No, my grandmother had a stroke, and this isn't it" Connor said frantically. "Maybe thar-" justin shushed Parker before she could expose anything to Connor. Justin picked me up and ran me down the stairs. "Herbs" I mumbled. "Did you say Advil lemme get some Advil" Connor dashed downstairs and to the cabinets," Shit we ran out". Parker followed justin and I to the car.

"What are we going to do, take her to the hospital, what are they going to give her?" Parker bursted. "Herbs" I mumble. Suddenly Justin's hands were like fire and burn marks appeared where his hands were. Justin lowered me in the back seat of the car while I said for the thrid and final time, "gimme those fucking herbs already". Justin heard me finally and ran inside. My phone started to ring and Parker picked it up, "not he best time Will" she spoke. Even in excruciating pain i snatched the phone from Parker. " Parker I need to talk to scarlet" The voice screams in my ear. " ya I'm here" trying to talk normally. " Scarlet, why didn't you pick up any of my calls" Will said. "Because we are not dating anymore" I coughed. " are you ok?" Will asked. " nope" I grunt. I thought that hearing his voice Would make things better like the lock screen did yesterday, but nothing happened. Luckily Justin jumped into the car with the herbs and a cup of water. I quickly put the water in my mouth and swallow some herbs. " you sure they don't have like an expiration date" justin said. I started to breath normally again, and my skin became back to its normal caramel color.

"You"re ok" Justin leaned in for a hug. I open the car door from the other side, take the water and the herbs and leave. " still mad" I laugh as I walk off to the lodge. "I she just gonna pretend like nothing happend?" Parker said. "Maybe, like how pretended you didn't like me" justin got out I the car and followed me to he lodge. Parker caught up behind him. " I never liked you" Parker's hand grips on his muscular arm. Justin let out a laugh. He easily pushed Parker's hand away. Parker grips again. " get that through your head. And don't be playing games with Scarlet, she's going through this transition because of you. So chill out in her. And don't take it out on me." Parker let go of his arm and marched in front of him to the lodge.
