"So do you think we're really going to get picked up" Chris asked me

This about our 100th time going over our duet but we're in costumes now so it's a bit more exciting. After the interview from the Ball everyone's been a bit more hopeful. For a lot of us, this is our first off Broadway show that could actually lead to Broadway.

"I mean, yeah. It's a good show with good songs and I mean we are pretty amazing," I shrug

"You're amazing" Chris smiles at me

I giggle a little and feel my face get hot. This has been a reoccurring problem for me. Chris flirts and I melt. It's kind of getting out of hand but I secretly love it. Besides Blaine and Finn nobody really compliments me like this. Well Jacob does too but those are just creepy.

"Oh stop it, you" I slightly shove

He smiles back and our moment is cut short when I hear a loud honk. I turn and see Finn waiting in the car. He looks like he was super excited, because now he's starting to pout from the look of those cheeks.

"Well, see you next time" Chris smiles

I smile and wave goodbye as I walk towards the car. I open the door and still slightly wave goodbye as we drive off. Gosh he's cute. Now time to turn to Finn.

"What's with the face" I ask

"What face, this is my regular face," he shrugs trying to play it off

Then it hits me.

"Oh my god were you jealous" I ask in shock and giggles

"What! No I wasn't" he defends

"You totally were, but it's okay because I have a surprise for your grumpy butt anyway" I smile

He glances at me and then turns back to the road,

"Is that why you wanted me to pick you up today?" He asked

"Yes, but first I have to change and then I'm driving" I tell him

"No way, you're a terrible driver," Finn protests

"Uh! I am not" I say in offense

"You almost ran us into a tree" Finn reminded me

"I do that one time and you never let it go" I groan

"Well were home if it makes you feel better" Finn shrugs

I step out as he sits in the car,

"Um hello, aren't you going to come up" I ask

"Um, no, I look fine right?" He asks me

I take a peek into his car and everything is fine until I see his feet.

"No way mister, go put on real shoes" I tell him

"What do you have against sandals?" He asks

"Nothing. They just won't work for where we're going" I let him know

"Fine but only because I don't want to be uncomfortable" he gives in

As he steps out of the car I smile and am on the verge of cutting in when he continues,

"Not because you're going to be the one driving" he clarifies

I slouch,

"Whatever"
