Guess Whose Back

"What are you doing here?" She asked with fear in her voice

She of course tried to mask it with cheering since she hadn't seen this person in such a long time.

"Well I have to come back sometime, might as well be now" she shrugged

He was kind of in awe of her, but he knew he couldn't have her. Especially since she clearly has someone who cares about her.

"I wasn't expecting you until this weekend" she said with a fake smile plastered all over her face

"It's good to see you" he remarked despite fighting the urge to rush to her aid

"I wanted to surprise everyone" she shrugged

"It's good to be back" she managed a tiny smile

"I can't wait to see him!" She clapped her hands together

"Just so you know Rachel, that guy was a prick and I am sure they would've understood if you took the day off" Chris assured her

"Cordelia, he's working right now so he won't be home but I can tell the chauffeur to drive you to the hotel for now" Olive assured her in law

"Hotel? Oh dear, didn't Charlie tell you? I'm staying with you two, that way I can stay as close as possible" Cordelia smiled while tapping Olives nose, which she knows she hates

Olive had to hold in just about everything to not scream out into the universe.

"Even better" Olive smiled

"My dear girl, your hair looks marvelous" Cordelia said "but you really ought to stop curling it so much, it looks unnatural"

Olives smile faded away since she remembered how many back handed compliments she gonna have to endure.

"Girl you are so brave" Mercedes came up to Rachel and hugged her

"As much as I appreciate it, can we go back to rehearsal? I really need to get this scene down" Rachel smiled

"Of course sweetie" Mercedes nodded in understanding

Rachel looked around the room and saw everyone looking at her in pity. Today was gonna be a long one.
