Picked Up

I was laying in bed next to Olive and we weren't even speaking. She was just scrolling on one of her many phones as I just laid there in silence. She called me up and we ended up hooking up since it's been a while.

"Finny, it's been so long" Olive said as she cuddled up

Somehow, having her this close feels wrong to me. It use to be just because we were seeing each other behind her husbands back, but now it feels different.

"Olive, when is the divorce going to be finalized" I ask her cautious

She lifted herself up and scooted away.

"Well when Charles began suspecting us, that put a delay and them I almost had to stop myself from trying to kill you and that what's her name," Olive explained

"Soo?" I dragged on

"Sooo, it won't be long now, I just need to secure everything so that it'll all stay intact when we officially separate" she shrugged

I feel terrible so I decide to use the bathroom to cool off.

"Where are you going?" Olive asked

"To use the bathroom" I tell her

She slouches and leans into the headboard. Olive said it won't be long, which means it'll almost be time to say goodbye to Rachel. I don't know if I'm ready for that,

Buzz buzz

I look at the sink and see Olive's main phone and mine. Hers has a bunch of notifications from her agent and her parents, I think. I don't even think I know anything about Olive in that regard. Huh,

Rinnnnggg

I look at the sink again and see Rachels face pop up on my screen. I quickly reach for it before Olive hears.

"Hey, you busy right now?" Rachel immediately asks me

I look at the door to make sure Olive's not coming,

"No, what's up"

"WELL GUESS WHO JUST GOT PICKED UP ON BROADWAY!!!!" She yelled excited

"Rach! That's amazing! I'm so proud of you, congratulations" I smiled excited for her

"The cast is throwing a big party tonight in celebration and I insisted it be at Midnight at Roomey's" Rachel explained "you remember that place?" She asked

"Of course i do, how could I forget? That's where we first officially met" I smile even more

I can't believe out of all the places, that's what she chooses. It warms my heart

"Yeah well that's why I chose it! I couldn't have done this without you Finn. So to show my gratitude I'm inviting you as my date!" She laughed

"I'm honored" I tell her honestly

"Also, don't feel any less honored because I invited The Gal Pack because you're still my date!" She exclaimed

I shouldn't be surprised she invited them. The gal pack is just Santana, Tina, her cast mate Mercedes and Kurt. I should've never told Kurt because now those two are inseparable. Kurt also has a thing for Blaine too.

"Kurt wanted to see Blaine because you invited him too didn't you?" I ask chuckling

"Yes," she confirms and I swear I can already see her biting her lip because it sounded like she had more to say,

"What is it?" I ask waiting for her to spill the beans

"Well Blaine also invited Jesse" she admits

Oh the one with the huge crush on her. I already know what's she going to say,
So please be nice about our fake relationship

"So please be nice about our whole fake relationship"she tells me what I already know

"I'll be nice, I promise" I say holding up my hand

"I know, I know, scouts honor" she said

"Hey, how'd you know" I ask her

"Honestly Finn, after living together for this long and you think I don't know you" she snorted a laugh

"Yeah I guess you're right" I smile

"Finn! What's taking so looonnggg," Olive shouts

"It sounds like someone needs you, so catch up tonight" Rachel told me

"Yeah see you tonight" I tell her goodbye

"Bye Finn" she says hanging up

I smile and glance at the ended phone call. She invited me as her date. I walk out trying to down play my happiness so Olive won't get mad.

"What were you doing in there?" She asked me

"umm pooping" I shrugged

"Gross" she said disgusted and turned away from me

I didn't even mind that she was taking up most of the covers. I'm going to a party as Rachel's date.
