The Universal Dragonslayer (Fairy Tail x Male Reader)

Chapter 12: 7 years

I apologize if this chapter feels a little sparatic at times. I had some troubles figuring out how to make the 7 year transition. It's also VERY long.

So buckle in kiddos because this one is a doozy!

   Your heart beat was slow. The air that entered your lungs was sweet and fresh. You felt like you just took the best nap of your life.
 
   A heavy mass rested across your body. It was warm.
 
   A sound cought your ear. It sounded like feet moving through grass. Then a gentle female voice spoke.

Voice: Wake up you two. It's time to go back home.

   Your eyes shot open. The sky above you was a nice shade of blue. Trees swayed back and forth as a breeze blew through them.

   You were too focused on the sky that you didnt relize that the object that was laying across you was moving and getting up. It grabbed your attention when you felt and elbow dig into your stomach.

You: Ah! What the hell!

  You look down to see Erza getting up off of you. She was laying horizontally across your stomach.

Erza: Sorry! Who is that?

You: Its me, (R/N).

Erza looked at you for a few seconds. Slowly processing the situation before quickly getting up off of you and apologizing.

You: Its fine. Not your fault.

   Erza helps you to your feet. You knock the dirt off of each other and start to look around.

Erza: Ok so last thing I remember was-

  Erza stops midsentence and turns red. A look of embarrassment takes over her face.

  You stand there and wonder what she's so embarrassed about. You think back to the blast and you remember exactly why she's blushing so hard.

You: Oh... that's the last thing I remember too.

Erza: We uh, should find the others.

You: Great idea. Lead the way.

Female voice: No need to go looking. They're all down there.

  You and Erza face a small woman dressed in a nice outfit. She was floating above the ground.

You: Who are you?

Female voice: You should know that already silly. I'm Mavis Vermillion!

    The woman throws her arms in the air joyfully.

You: So you're Mavis. Aren't you dead?

Mavis: Ever heard of a ghost?

You: You know...I'm just gonna roll with it.

   Mavis points down to the shore. A boat is docked on the beach. Surrounding it was your guildmates.

Erza: Let's get down there and see what's going on.

  A few minutes later, you reach the boat. The sails had the magic council symbol on them.

Makarov: Erza! (R/N)! We were about to send a group of people out to look for you. Where were you two.

Erza: We woke up not ten minutes ago. Why were we asleep.

   Makarov looks at you two with a grim look on his face.

Makarov: I'll tell you the good reason of why you were asleep and and bad consequence. The reason you were asleep is because our first master, Mavis, put a protective spell over the island when Acnilogia tried destroyed it. It saved everyones life. The consequence of this spell being casted, we were all put under for seven years.
