Chapter 32: Vs. The Amalgamation

FINALY! I have returned! The hiatus is over and I'm back with more chapters! I apologize for the long waits here it is, chapter 32. Enjoy.

The stone and black goo amalgamation stood large before you and Natsu. It towered above the nearby buildings. The single, small white mask at the top of it looked through you with a black stare even though it didnt have eyes.

You look at Natsu who was in a battle stance.

You: So what's the game plan here pal?

Natsu: Hit it!

He charges the monster with a flame covered fist.

He hits the stone chest as hard as he could but his flames bounced off and dispersed quickly.

Before Natsu could get away, the monster backhanded him with vicious force sending him tumbling into the ground.

You: Great idea man! That panned out real well...

It turns twords you. Each step it took send the ground into a frenzy of vibrations.

You: Uh oh

It sprinted at you with ill intent in its hallow eye sockets.

The monster was faster than you thought it was. You throw up your arms and plant your into the ground to brace for the impact but it was fruitless. The force of its arm was enough to make your whole body fail all at once.

The arm hit you. A sharp pain shoots up your body. While you were falling back, the monster strikes again, causing even more pain.

You fall flat on your back.

You: How is it this strong?! It's only made up of stone and goo!

It raises it's foot into the the air, ready to flatten you under its weight.

As it slams down, you roll out of the way, making it miss.

A huge ball of flames engulfs it's back side. It stumbles forward.

You kick up off the ground to see Natsu riding it's back, punching at the stone with fierce power.

You: Its distracted!

You close your eyes and focus all the power in your body to your fists. The tattoos light up as they've always done.

The beat of your heart speeds up. Adrenaline from the battle makes your body jitter.

You open your eyes and rush the monster who was trying to get Natsu off of it's back.

When you get below it, you push up off the ground and strike the chest with all the magic in your dominant hand.

It steps back from the impact. Cracks form in the stone chest where you hit it.

You: Natsu! Don't waist your magic on normal attacks, use as much blunt force as you can! The stone may be strong, but it can only take so much!

Natsu: Got it! In that case...!

He jumps up from the monster. Flame wings suspend him in the air.

Natsu: Fire dragon! Sword horn!

The flames holding him propels him at the monster. Bright, crimson flames covers him from head to toe as he soars through the air. He punches a hole straight through the back and out the chest. Natsu comes out the other side.

You: Hell yeah!

The mask atop the monster let's out a shrill scream.

???: AAAAAAA! YOU MONSTER!
