Chapter 40: Lost Power

The gigantic monster that was towering out of the ocean started to resonate even more power. The water surrounding it's long body was being violently pushed away. Waves were reaching Acnologia. The cold winter air was chilling everyone to the bone.

Erza: Ultear! Pull up!

Ultear: On it!

Acnologia swiftly rose back into the sky.

Ultear: Shit! I think that's all the energy I have left! He's not in my control anymore!

Lisanna: I can see the ocean floor!

Elfman looks over a wing and gasps.

The ocean floor was being illuminated by the red sky. It looked to be around four miles deep.

Erza: To think... she's standing on the ocean floor... how massive is she exactly?!

Gajeel: I don't know but this is seriously pissing me off! (R/N), READ THE BOOK ALREADY!

You: R-right!

You shook. Doubtful thoughts ran through your mind. How could any amount of new found power be enough to take her down?

Acnologia spoke for the first time in awhile.

Acnologia: Do it boy! I didn't spare you so you could piss your pants at the sight of the world serpant!

Andromeda glares at Acnologia.

You flip through the pages in the book, finding the page that Lugos marked.

You: WHICH ONE?! THERE ARE SO MANY SPELLS IN HERE!

Acnologia: The one that the old man told you to use as a last resort!

You: Seriously?! But he said that-!

Acnologia: STOP BICKERING BEFORE I KILL YOU MYSELF! READ! IT! NOOOOOW!

The Allmother jolted her body at the group. Her whole mouth mass was wide enough to swallow a mountain.

Acnologia flew as fast as he could away from her. Andromeda did the same. His fast and rapid movements made it hard to read.

You steady your footing and try to read.

There was a diagram drawn in the book. It was a picture of you and the lines on your body. A few words were written underneath.

"Monster born of soul. The child of stars and the child of rage, fused into one body.

The text was written in a different language but you had the translation paper stored with the book. You look for the phrase that Lugos pointed out, the one he told you was a last resort.

You: I FOUND IT!

Ultear: NOW TRANSLATE IT AND READ IT OUT LOUD! HURRY!

There were five phrases. Each taking some time to translate.

You read.

You: Heavenly body Andromeda! You birthed my eyes!

Intense pain creeped through your eyes. It felt as if sharp needles were piercing them.

You: AAAAAAAAA!

You could barely see now.
