Character Synopsis: The Allmother

Name:
Unknown; Commonly referred to as "The Allmother"

Age:
Possibly older than Earthland itself.

Magic:
Created magic itself. She holds a power used to create life from thin air and holds the ability to end the world if she pleases.

Appearance:
The Allmother doesn't take one single appearance, instead choosing to become a creature that the viewer would be able to mentally comprehend. If she created it, she can become it. This includes Exceeds, Humans, Dragons, and many other unseen bodies. She only showed her true form after beginning to lose to (R/N) in their final battle. This form is described as "The World Serpent"

- Her true form.

- The actual length of her serpant body is unknowable but it is long enough to sit on the sea floor and stick out of the surface.

- Nearly indestructable scales cover her entire body.

- Multiple rows of impossibly sharp teeth run deep into her mouth seeping poison into any creature she bites.

History:

To understand the Allmother's history, one must understand history itself for she is the one who wrote it.

Born in the alternate dimension of Edolas as a serpant like being, the Allmother sought power from a very early age. She hunted down the strongest beings in Edolas and consumed each one she defeated, this added onto her already impossible power.

After searching for a few hundred years, the Allmother eventually encountered "The Creator", a sexless being who had power over creation itself. She viewed this being as the ultimate source of power and in a fit of sheer will, she consumed the Creator, adopting their power.

The Allmother went mad with unstoppable strength and ruled over Edolas with an iron fist. Legends say that when she grew bored, she would wipe out an entire race and start from scratch.

Her last creations in Edolas were the Exeeds and humans.

The Allmother wanted to expand her horizons so she found a way to travel to an alternate, uninhabited Earth and moved there to start the world over again, taking all the magic in Edolas with her.

She created race after race in an effort to create the ultimate species, each one sharing her primordial blood. A single special being was made to keep an eye on the expansive lands she ruled over, she dubbed this creature as "Lugos".

To eliminate a faulty creation, the Allmother would send a new species to wipe out the prior for sheer entertainment alone.

Humans were created after the dragons dissapointed her.

Hundreds of years passed before she grew annoyed with the Human races' infatuation with violence. The Allmother was preparing to wipe out them out but she didn't account for a human-dragon hybrid named (R/N) who was out of her range of control due to the blood that ran through his body.

The Allmother was eventually put down for good when her powers failed to stop the man. A time wizard by the named of Ultear Milkovich locked away the Sphere of Creation in an empty void in time to prevent another Allmother from being born.

The Allmother was spawned from the need of an over arching villain in the story. Having Acnologia as the final, end all be all, opponent seemed a bit boring to me so I thought of some world ending scenarios that would fit in the Fairy Tail universe. And so, the threat of the Allmother was created.

I greatly enjoyed writing the Allmother as a character. Having the ultimate ability to do whatever I wanted with her as an author was exhilarating. She wasn't bound by pre-established lore or a personality. I could build her from the ground up.

She is by far my second favorite character I've ever created. I do wish I had expanded on her lore a bit more in the main story but what is done is done.
