Chaper 11: Man or Beast?

   The first part of this chapter will take place through the eyes of Erza. So it will be written in first person.

~~~~~~~~Erza POV~~~~~~~~~~
  I had no idea what I was looking at. I've seen Natsu and Gajeel use dragon force before but this... this was different. He isn't using the abilities of a dragon. No, he became one. Or at the least he's almost one. He still looks kind of human but I can barely tell.

   Azuma dropped me and focused on (R/N). He was terrified.

    (R/N) was on all fours breathing heavily and drooling from his mouth. It was compleatly animalistic.

    He broke off in to a rage induced sprint twords Azuma. He tried to stop him but nothing would work. Everything he hit (R/N) with didnt effect him. He even put up another wall of roots but he ripped through them like they were paper.

   I would feel bad for Azuma if I wasnt on (R/N)'s side.

    Azuma was hit by a fist full of sharp claws. (R/N) sank them deep into his arms as he kneed Azuma in the stomach. The strike was so powerful it sent a shock wave through the air.

    It wasnt until (R/N) opened his mouth to bite Azuma that I relize that he was no longer trying to stop Azuma. He was trying to kill him.

   I got to my feet and grabbed (R/N) by the arms, trying to drag him off of Azuma.

    With enough pulling and tugging I was able to separate the two. But (R/N) had already done his damage. Azuma hit the ground. He didnt move. If he hadn't been breathing heavily I would have thought he was dead.

   (R/N) got back up and tried to get back to Azuma. I pulled out my metal hammer and hit (R/N) as hard as I could in the head.

Erza: I'm so sorry for this!

  The hammer hit him and he was forced to the ground. Knocking him out.

   I could hear Azuma coughing beside me.

Azuma: You didnt need to do that. I'm finished anyways. The wounds are too serious.

Me: I know that. But being ripped appart like prey isn't an honorable way to go.

Azuma: Well thanks for stopping that from happening. Earlier I had promised you that if you managed to beat me, I would restore the tree. I want to keep that promise. All you need to do is finish me off. Bleeding out hurts too much.

Me: I'm sorry it ended this way.

   I look back at (R/N) who was perfectly normal now.

Me: I dont know what happened to him.

Azuma: Its fine. I've never been the best of people. So its fitting that this is how I go out.

    He lifts my blade to my hands. I take the hilt on my hand and raise my blade.

Me: I hope your soul will be judged fairly in the afterlife. Goodbye Azuma.

Azuma: *Smiles* Goodbye Titania.

  Your body was warm. The pain in your leg was gone and you could hear people loudly talking.

Wendy: Hey! He's waking up!

You: Wendy?

   You opened your eyes to see the blue haired girl smiling over you.

   You get off the ground to be greated with all of your guild members standing around talking, laughing, and getting patched up.

You: I'm so confused. What happened?
