Chapter 39: Andromeda

~~~~~~~~~~Erza's Pov~~~~~~~~

My head was pounding. That woman's attack left me unconscious and with a nasty headache.

???: She took them all down?

???: Yeah, (R/N) was the only one standing... and he's still fighting on.

Who was talking? One of the voices sounded female.

I let out a grunt to catch their attention.

???: Hey I think one of them is waking up! It's Erza!

I grunt again.

???: Hold on Erza I've got you!

A warm power rushed through me. My head wasn't hurting anymore.

???: How do you feel?

Erza: Better...

My eyes open and see Wendy's soft face hovering over me.

A salty smell assaults my nose as I regain my senses.

Erza: What's going... what happened?

Wendy: We we're knocked out during the fight. Luckily (R/N) got us down from the tower.

She turns and looks to a pile of rubble that was once the very large tower we were on top of.

I hear a loud bang from above and look in it's direction.

A large grey dragon was fighting off the Allmother. (R/N) was there fighting by the dragon's side.

Erza: Who is that?

Ultear, who was bent over Acnologia responded immediately.

Ultear: I may be wrong... but I believe that to be Andromeda. (R/N)'s blood mother.

Erza: Seriously?! Where did she come from?!

Ultear: I don't know, but she showed up along with some of your guild mates.

She points to some familiar faces.

Romeo, Mirajane, Lisanna, Elfman, Levy, Wakaba, and Macao were staring in awe as they watched the raging battle over head. They were soaked in water.

Ultear: We don't have a lot of time before the cavern fills with sea water.

Erza: What do you mean?

Ultear: That dragon decided that it was a good idea to drill straight through the ocean floor to get to us. So now the whole cavern is crumbling and flooding. If I could just get Acnologia under my control, I could get us out of here!

She looks back to Acnologia and continues to cast whatever spell she was casting.

Allmother: THIS PLACE WILL BE YOUR GRAVE!

I look to see the Allmother with her arms extended twords the cavern celing.

Allmother: TELL ME DRAGON, CAN YOU SURVIVE A CAVERN OF THIS SIZE CRUMBLING ON YOUR HEAD?! BECAUSE I CAN!

Ultear: SHIT! She's going to destroy this whole place!

Acnologia twitches to life. His eyes blank and empty.

Ultear: YES! I GOT IT!

He stands up and starts to morph.

Allmother: GET OUT OF THIS ONE!

A bright beam of white magic bursts through the celing. Everything started to shake. Rocks fell from above.

Ultear: GRAB THE WOUNDED!
