Erza handled the role of guild master well. In just three months, she made the guild feel as if Makarov never left. The atmosphere was the same. The attitude of your guildmates was the same. Most importantly, the intergraty of the guild stayed the same.
What did change was your training. Your promise to Makarov pushed you to get as strong as possible. The victim of your training was a nearby forrest used by your guildmates when they needed practice.
Natsu, Gajeel, and occasionally Wendy would join you. Their reasoning was that if Acnologia was to return, they might as well be as strong as they can be.
Winter rolled around and Magnolia was blanketed in a light sheet of snow.
Everything seemed great for the first three months. You and Erza moved into a small apartment. The guild was gaining new members. There was a plethora of jobs to take. Life was good.
The only thing that was off about everything was the sky.
Around four in the afternoon each day, the sky would turn a dark green and all the clouds in the area would dissipate. It didn't matter if it was snowing or just a cloudy day. Each one disappeared for an hour. The sky would return to normal at about five.

It was mid December.Christmas decorations were strung out across the guild. You took your place at the bar and drank from a mug.
Something was chewing at you on the inside.
For the past few days, you felt a strange energy fill the air when four o'clock comes around.
You: First the sky turns a different color and now the energy shifts. What is going on?
You look up a clock hanging behind the bar. It read 3:30
You: Half an hour before it happens again.
Mirajane, who was cleaning glasses, took notice to your silence.
Mirajane: Hey, is everything alright?
You: Huh? Yeah I'm fine. I was just thinking about the whole sky thing. Have you noticed that the air shifts when it rolls around?
Mirajane: Not really. I haven't payed much mind to it.
You: I thought it was extremely noticeable. Then again I do sense more things than most other people.
Mirajane: The sky changing does concern me. It's not normal. The clouds disappearing is also a very big problem. Call it superstition, but I think something big is coming. I get uneasy when changes.
You: Hopefully nothing is coming. What if this is some sort of prelude to... no. I don't need to be worrying myself with that.
Mirajane: You never know. What do you think it is?
You: For my sake, nothing.
Mirajane: Do you need a refill?
Your mug was almost dry.
You: Sure
She takes the mug and goes to refill it.
You look back up at the clock. 3:38.
From above, a person calls your name.
???: (R/N)!
You: What?!
???: Come to my office!
It was Erza
You: Ok! Give me a minute!
You look at Mira who was filling your mug.
You: Mira, hold off on the refill.
