Chapter 41: A Battle of Giants

Erza: So this is it? This is (R/N)'s true power?

Andromeda: Yes. He what dragons fear.

Erza: Why is her language so broken?

(R/N) and the Allmother were at a standstill. They stared into eachothers eyes, fierce tension building up between them.

There were bite marks on the base of the Allmother's neck where (R/N) had bit her. The holes were bleeding but it didn't seem to affect her.

The snow was coming down faster than before when the battle had begun. Each crash of thunder was louder than the last, Pantherlilly wasn't too happy about that.

Natsu: Why are they just standing there?

Acnologia: Because the energy of this battle just shifted. She's up against an opponent who is able to get the best of her, therefore she's being careful and not attacking wildly. The boy is doing the same.

Irene: No matter how many times you see it... you can never get used to the way he looks.

Andromeda growled to herself.

Irene: He has no control over himself. His eyes are wild and bloodshot.

Wendy: Is that a bad thing?

Wendy was scared. Her voice was uneasy.

Irene: No, the animalistic nature of this form of his has allowed him to overcome many battles in the past.

We hear (R/N) roar. He makes a break for the Allmother's neck again.

His front arms go to grab her face but she slips out and latches onto his right arm.

He roars out in pain as crimson blood drips from his arm. An odd substance was dripping out along with his blood. It was green.

Irene: She just injected him with a ton of poison!

Wendy: Oh no!

(R/N) dug his left claw into her face, stabbing into the stone hard scales and peeling them off.

She let's go of his arm and pulls away from him.

Two rows of deep gashes were leaking blood and poison. (R/N) didn't seem to be affected too much by the toxins.

He bared his teeth at her. A deep laughter bellowed from his throat.

Blue light shines from his wounds. They closed up in the matted of seconds.

Acnologia: His power has increased one-hundred fold. That includes his healing, but, he still has his limitations.

The scales where he was bitten were still broken.

Acnologia: Too much healing could drain his all if his magic, leaving him defenseless.

Black goo dripped from the Allmother's head. She didn't recover from the attack.

Allmother: That healing just might be a problem! Guess I'll have to hurt you until you drop!

She twists her body upwards to the sky in a corkscrew formation. She then shoots down and burrows into the ground. Dirt, mud, and water sprayed everywhere. The ground shook from her body thrusting through the earth.

(R/N) extends his wings, swiftly flings them down and takes off to the sky. The wind threw everyone off balance.

Irene: We need to get back! This is about to get very destructive!
