Chapter 20: Man and Beast

The Colosseum's audience was going insane at what they were watching. The terrifying sight they were viewing shook them to their cores. Your on looking guildmates watched with concern.

Mavis was the only one who wasn't afraid.

Mavis: Don't worry. He is in full control. What you are seeing is simply a glimpse of what he really is. You shouldn't fear it.

Makarov gains his composure.

Makarov: She's right. (R/N) cannot help what he is. I assure you that he means well... even if he looks like this.

Minerva was shaking. Her once cocky attitude was out the door. What replaced it was pure fear.

Minerva: You're not human! You're a monster!

You: You're wrong. I'm both.

With long strides, you walked to Minerva. She was determined to stay as far away from you as possible.

Minerva: Get away from me you vile creature.

Every step you took, she took two back.

You: Theres no where to go. What happened to that courage you had a second ago?

Minerva backed up against the wall of fire. Burning her arm.

Minerva: GET AWAY FROM ME!

She throws an orb in your direction. It hits you to no affect.

She continues to throw everything she has at you. Nothing was working.

She drops to the ground when you're less than a foot away.

You: Your black heart will know fear.

Minerva started to break down. Tears streamed out of her eyes.

Minerva: Please! I didn't want to do any of it!

You: You knew exactly what you were doing. There is no running from this.

You lift two talons in the air. A massive cluster of different elements of magic grew larger over your head.

You: This is for everyone you've hurt. You messed with the wrong guild friend. Say goodbye.

Minerva screams.

You fling your hand down at her. The cluster shoots down at her but before it touches her, you move your hand to the right. Sending the attack away from the scared woman.

The ball is flung into the distance. It hits a mountain. A bright light of different colors explodes, taking the landscape with it.

You: Now you know why I held back.

You bend down to her level.

You: You lost Minerva. Let this be a lesson to you.

A flick of your finger to her forehead slamming her whole body into the ground. She was knocked out cold.

The announcer sounded off.

Announcer: (R/N) from Fairy Tail has taken out another opponent. At least I think thats him.

You could hear Erza grunting. The rubble that was pinning her started to move.

You: Erza! Hold on, I'll help you.

Erza: I think I have a broken leg, my arm might be in the same state.

The rubble was heavy yet your unnatural strength moved it easily.

Erza: Can you please go and check on Kagura. I need a moment to recuperate.

You make your way to the wounded woman. Her breathing was slow but she was still alive.
