Leaving

A single tear ran down my cheek, but it was quickly wiped away by Shawn's thumb. He took my face with his hands and kissed me on the bridge of my nose.

"Do you have to go? I'm going to miss you so much..." I say, more tears threatening to fall. I try and pull myself together, I have to. For Shawn's sake and my own.

He gives me a sad smile. "I think you know the answer, and you know I will miss you with all my heart. I promise to phone every night and message you tons."

I take a shaky breath and nod. He pulls me in for a hug and I breath in his scent. It's only 4 months, he'll be back soon.

An announcement goes off, signaling that Shawn has to leave. He pulls me in for one last, very passionate kiss. Then he grabs his bag and turns toward the plane.

When he gets to the door of the plane, he blows a kiss to me. I pretend to catch it and hold it to my heart.

Then he walks in the plane and I turn to leave. The love of my life has left...but only for a short while.

As I climb in the car, my phone goes off. I look down. It reads: one new message from Shawn😍

I open it up

Texting pov:

Shawn😍: I love you to the moon and back, baby girl. Miss you already xx

Normal pov:

I smile and whisper to myself, "I love you too, Shawn."

(A/n) Hello once more, so sorry I haven't updated in a while but I'm on holiday at the moment...I get back tomorrow so you should get this when I arrive home. Hope everyone is having a good week!! xx
