I groaned loudly and rolled over to a more comfy position on my bed. My stomach was cramping, I was in a (mostly) grumpy mood and there was a lot of blood...you guessed it, it's 'that time of the month'. I was in a grumpy mood from my period but also because I really wanted to see my boyfriend, Shawn. I hadn't seen him in two weeks, and I really needed some of his company.

My phone buzzed next to me and I picked it up lazily. It was the person I'd just been thinking of.

*texting pov*

Shawn: Hey baby, can I come over? xx

Y/n: Yes please...

Shawn: I'll be over in ten, ok?

Y/n: 'Kay, see you

*normal pov*

Exactly ten minutes later, I heard the doorbell and mom opening it. Shawn knocked on the the door before entering. He smiled widely, and brandished a hot water bottle, a box of chocolates and (y/f/m). I poured to show I was sore, but opened my arms, not bothering to move from my current position in bed. He placed the items next to me on my bedside table and crawled onto the bed to nuzzle close to me.

I inhaled his familiar scent and snuggled closer to me. "I love you." I murmured into his chest. He stroked his fingers through my hair and kissed the top of my head. "I love you more." He said. "I highly doubt that..." I whispered and heard him chuckle. I was in a much better mood now that he was here.

The rest of the afternoon was spent snuggling on the couch, watching (y/f/m) and eating chocolates. I ended up falling asleep at the end of the movie and felt Shawn pick me up and carry me off to bed. Once he'd tucked the covers over me, I grabbed his hand and looked up at him with puppy eyes. He knew exactly what I wanted and sighed, but smiled down at me. He pulled off his shirt so he was just in his sweats and climbed next to me.

"I love you." He whispered in my ear, sending shivers down my spine. "I love you more." I croaked sleepily. "I highly doubt that." He said. And I giggled, cuddling him close. If only this boy knew how much he really meant to me.
