I sat on my bed reading, a cup of hot chocolate on the table next to me and my cat , Alex, on my lap. I gave a little content sigh...I loved moments like these.

Just then, Shawn barged into the room, startling Alex. He jumped off my lap and into his own bed, in the corner of the room.

"Hey baby girl!!" He said plonking down next to me. I decided to (try) give him the silent treatment...he always got my attention in the end.

"Oh, so I get the silent treatment, do I?" He asked and poked my cheek. I tried my hardest not to laugh. I saw him pout out the corner of my eye...he was so cute when he was upset!!

"Maybe I'll get your attention by doing...this!!" With that he grabbed the book I was reading from my hands and held it high above me.

"Hey!! Give that back!!" I say indignantly, jumping on the bed to try grab it. It was no use, he was much to tall. "Only if I get a kiss!!" he said in a sing song voice.

"Fine..." I sighed in defeat. I pecked him on the cheek and held out my hand for the book. He pouted again. "What was that?" He asked. "A kiss?" I replied.

"No...this is a kiss." He said pulling my face to his to give him a passionate kiss.
"Satisfied?" I asked once we pulled away. He nodded and handed me my book.

I read for most of the day, while Shawn cuddled into me asking for a kiss now and then.

Eventually, Shawn fell asleep and I put my book down to cuddle into him more. He was breathing deeply, and I giggled at how cute he was. I then kissed his neck softly and fell asleep wrapped in his arms.
