School

I hung my head low in hope he wouldn't notice me. Of course, he never did. Even if I had the confidence to hold my head up high, he still wouldn't.

"He" is Shawn Mendes: best looking guy in school, has an amazing voice, really popular and can pick any girl he chooses...their all drooling at his feet.

I let out a sigh of relief when I turn the corner. I'm not usually like this around guys, but he has me entranced and it's annoying...why can't I act normally?

I carry on with my day per usual and get to my last class of the day: English. I sit in my usual spot with (b/f/n) next to me. I plop my bag down and we talk a little. Eventually everyone, except one, has come in. This was the only class I shared with Shawn and he was no where to be seen.

As our teacher got ready to begin the lesson, Shawn slowly opened the door. He apologized for being late and the teacher nodded.

Then he started towards a seat. 'Please don't sit next to me, please don't sit next to me...' I thought to myself. But of course, he had to sit next to me.

The lesson began and our teacher started talking about something, but I wasn't listening. I gave a little sigh under my breath, but Shawn must have heard me because he chuckled. "You also find her boring?" He whispered and turned to me.

I turned and nodded and smiled. He chuckled and held out his hand. "I'm Shawn, you're (y/n) aren't you?" I was really surprised he new who I was, but replied, "Yeah, nice to meet you." I whispered back and giggled as I shook his hand.

Then I quickly tucked a piece of hair behind my ear, a nervous habit I have. I saw him looking at me out the corner of my eye, but forced myself to look at the teacher.

Eventually, after sneaking glances at each other, our eyes met. We stared at each other for a second before he looked away, smirking. I blushed lightly. Just then the bell rang. I was packing up before Shawn slipped a piece of paper in front of me.

"You should call me sometime." He said, winking and then leaving me shocked. 'I've so fallen for this guy' I think to myself as my friend is freaks out next to me.
