(Chapter 13) your my lieutenant

I wake up and see kelly sitting in a wheel chair sleeping
"Kelly" I say quietly
"Are you okay?" He asks
"I should be asking you that" I say to him
"I'm okay I have a fractured wrist and smoke inhalation but that's all" he says wheeling closer to my bed
"What about you?" He asks
"I don't know what I have I haven't talked to a doctor yet" I say just as Dr. Halstead walks in
"Hey sophia your awake!" Will says smiling
"As good as new!" I say smiling back
"Not so fast! Would you like to know what issues we have found so far?" He asks knowing even if I say no he will still tell me
"Your going to tell me anyway so sure!" I say chuckling
"You have a sprained ankle, 3 broken ribs and heavy smoke inhalation your father said when you hit the ground your mask smacked off and hit the ground and went to the other side of the room!" Will explains
"Yes that what I remember" I say as kelly looks at me with confusion
"Hit the ground?" Kelly says
" so I know your my lieutenant but don't yell at me for not following chiefs orders" I say and he nods
"I took Lexi Al's daughter down to gabby and shay when I got to the bottom step the stair case gave out I ran her to gabby and I ran back me and Casey where trying to find a way to get upstairs to you and all of the rest of the body's then I had an idea I ran to the squad truck got truck 23 from station 32 and we put the ladder to the third story window I went to it and tried to break it with my elbow it didn't break I then broke it with my crowbar and when I got in we got everyone out then I went back for you truck 23 left on my orders once I was able to get you to the window the floor gave out after my father and Chief where yelling at me to get out when we hit the ground it was the first floor you fell on top of me and my mask came off then it was exposed to the smoke and my location alarm started going off and I smuggled up some strength and was able to carry us out of the house when I reached outside I got you down to the floor the everything went black" I explain
"You didn't need to do that" he says looking down
"Your my lieutenant, plus it's my job to help a damsel out of destress in this case your the damsel and you being trapped is your destress I got you out I'm alive your alive everyone is fine that's all I care about" I say and then I'm immediately intruded with lips on mine there Kelly's I just kiss back and we pull away after a few seconds
"Wow!" He says smiling
"Yeah" I says blushing
"I wouldn't mind doing that again sometime, just not in the hospital" he says
"Definitely!" I say
"Kelly but we can't Your my lieutenant Chief doesn't allow that kind of stuff here we can't continue" I say looking down
"We can keep it on the down low!" He says to me
"No we can't I don't want a relationship on the down low I want to be able to tell people who I'm with and let them know I belong to someone or that someone belongs to me, I just need to rest please leave kelly" I say nodding towards the door
"But Sophi-" he says but I cut him off
"Please leave" I say pointing to the door
