"There's a detective coming to get a statement" i say to kelly
"Okay" he says looking me right in the eyes
"I'm sorry I put you thought this" I say to him
"Stop! You didn't cause this, you didn't ask to get kidnapped by an ex and almost get burnt alive, soph I love you and the only thing I was thinking about was getting you out alive" he admits
"You what?" Taken aback by what he said about loving me
"I love you, It took me a while to figure that out, after we had sex in our office I only thought that I wanted the awsome sex, No I want to call you mine and be able to call you ms. Severide and have kids with you and grow old and be in a nursing home with you" he says pressing the nurses botton
"Kelly...I love you too I want all of that" I say smiling wishing I could get up and kiss him

"How can I help you mr. Severide" a nurse says walking in
"Can I sit in bed with her?" He asks
She looks hesitate at first but then looks at the clip board
"I'll have to talk to a doctor, but i don't think that would be an issue" she says smiling
"Thank you" Kelly says
She nods and leaves

"Mr. Severide, if you want to move back to your bed just press the nurses botton and they will move you back to your bed, and detective ferry is here to speak to you guys

"Okay send her in" Kelly says

The doctor nods and leave to go get the detective

"Hello I'm detective Joann ferry from San Diego police department, I'm here to get you statement and any other information or question you have" she says shaking our hands

"He was my ex, I broke up with him a few years later got married to my deseased husband he started working for the firehouse I work at, constantly putting me in danger but my cheif let him go after he landed me in the hospital on a call! A doctor came into my room to take blood for a DNA test but i got caught off guard when he started putting stuff into me not taking out blood I asked what he was doing but before he could answer I lost conscienceness and I woke up in an attic type area and I saw severide so I knew it was a personal thing he contacted Chicago fire department and police department saying every hour he was going to cut me a little more and that in 24 hours he was going set the house in flames" I explain to her while severide holds me

"Okay and your severide" she asks pointing to Kelly

"Yes" he confirms

"Okay what about you mr. Severide" she asks

"He seemed like a nice guy, they would fight about little things like seating situations and he didn't respect her, she was his superior his lieutenant her and I would have special seats in the engine and the tables yunno, because we were the lieutenants of squad, he didn't get it... I started to dislike him, gave him the easy jobs while on call, now! I don't know much about the call that caused her to be in the hospital I was injured and in the hospital myself so I wasn't there, I only know the little information I have been told, her father asked for a DNA test to be taken to see who's it was and he did the same thing to me putting stuff into me but i tried to push me off of me but i was weak at that point and I woke up next to her, and I had to sit there and watch her get hurt" Kelly says while holding me closer to him

"Thankyou that's will help us tremendously, one more question though" she says

We nod telling her to continue

"What was his name?" She asks

"James Michael kenny" I state

"Thankyou guys very much, we will keep you updated on further information if we take him into custody" she say

"Okay thankyou" we both say

"So far if we catch him he will be charged with the following: arson, attempted murder, disorderly conduct, not only will he has about 22 years in his sentence but he will have 2 year parole and 7 days of community service if pled guilty in court" she informs

"Okay thankyou for all your help" I say to her

"Your welcome I hope you guys feel better soon" she says

We exchange goodbyes and she leave me and Kelly to soak in all the information she has given us

"I'm glad everything is taken care of and he will be taken to jail" Kelly says smiling
"That's if he is caught and pled guilty, I have a feeling he won't get caught, or he will get caught but won't be pled guilty in court" I say looking at him
"I feel like he will get caught and put in jail" he says laying down a little

After putting on a show I lay down with him and fall asleep listening to his heartbeat
