Its been three week since I was sent to the hospital three weeks since I saved my lieutenant three weeks since he kissed me three weeks since he asked to keep a relationship on the down low...

...Three weeks since I lost all confidence...

Last week I was let out of the hospital and I started to stay back with my parents since I was told I needed to stay with someone almost all of firehouse asked that I could stay with them until I was better but I declined all but my fathers invitation

I haven't talked to Kelly much since that situation I know what your all going to say
"But he's your lieutenant how do you ignore him your co. Lieutenant there no way you can ignore him" well I made it possible I only listen to what he asks me to do and I get to work finish and get back in the truck with everyone else and go back to the firehouse I don't even sit in my normal seat like I usually do my usual seat is next to severide now I sit next to Capp and tony everyone has noticed tension between severide and I but don't mention anything about until today

Engine 51, Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61, structure fire, 435 Maryland rd.

Everyone runs to the turnout room gets there gear on and get to there truck and we get to the fire

"Alright everyone stay close to each other you have 10 minutes to do rescue and search and get people out before this structure gets unstable any new news will be reported threw your radios, get to work" boden says to everyone

"Capp your with me on the north side, Cruz and Herman your on east side tony your watching over Incase we need the ladder or any other assistance" severide orders

"Copy" we all say in union

And we get to work me and Cruz make our way to the east side we see a daycare

"Please say this daycare was only morning care if not we have a lot of children to help" I say to Cruz and he nods

"HELP,HELP!" We hear a women's voice call out to us

"FIRE DEPARTMENT CALL OUT" I yell to the lady and she screams again finally we are able to locate her and we see her and two younger child we around 7 and 2 years of age

"I got the women you get the children"Cruz says to me

"Copy" I say and go to grab the children

"Mommy don't make them take us they look scary mommy don't" the little boy says

"There here to save you baby boy there firefighter go with them" she says

"No mommy I want to be with you I'm scared" he says coughing 

"Hey buddy I'm not scary behind the mask look" I say taking off my mask so he can see I'm no danger

"Okay but if you get me and my sissy will the other one get my mommy?" He asks

"Yes the firefighter over there is mr. Cruz he's going to get your mommy down there same alright" I say and pick up the boy and the little girl and start bolting down the hallway while feeling the wall for any heat near by when I don't feel any I keep running till I'm outside and then Cruz comes running out with the mom

I let the kids down as shay and gabby come and look at them all

"They look fine so far only smoke inhalation but we still should take them to med to get them checked out just to be sure" shay says to me and gabby then we nod

Right as the rest of squad get out of the building it explodes I look and see Kelly carrying a little girl maybe around age 5 looks unconscious and Capp comes out with an older man about age 74 and Capp nods saying he didn't make it...
