(chapter 24)

:hermann:
We are sitting in the waiting room while shay and mills ran to get food for everyone so some of us can be here if a doctor has any updates on sophia

"Family of sophia hermann!" The doctor says walking out of the icu
"Thats us!" Almost everyone stands up and the doctor just stands there stunded
"Shes got a lot of family, but i mean blood relation?" He asks
"Thats me!, I'm her father" I say while everyone stays standing

"We were able to run some blood test and get everything taken care of resulting in her lake accident she up and breathing fine now but i have some things to go over with you, the father of sophia hermann, now may you please follow me to my office?" The doctor asks with that I follow him while everyone sighs in relief that she's okay

We walk into an office and I close the door behind me

"Please have a seat please sir" he says sitting down in his own chair

"Is she okay?" I asks sitting down

"Yes she's doing awsome" he replied

"But when we ran some tests we found out that she is about two days pregnant" the doctor says

I'm astonished this can't be possible

"Sorry sir but can you check those again, that can't be possible she hasn't been seeing anybody as far as I know" I say putting my hand on my face and letting it fall to my lap

"Sir, I'm very sure I wouldn't be giving you false information on my patient, maybe she had a bootie call, everyone has those" he suggests

"I will tell you now my daughter doesn't just have sex with some guy for no reason, can you run a DNA test to see whom got my daughter pregnant?" I ask

"Yes we can" he says smiling

"When?" I say antsy

"Now if you would like just let me explain everything, when the male and the female have intercourse his ejaculation will travel through her body and into her blood, so if we took her blood and split the two different blood bonds then we will be able to find out who the biological" the doctor says

"Okay thankyou" I say stressed as anything and hopeful to find the father of my grandchild

"Now we are just going to need to take some of her blood now" the doctor says standing up

We stand up and walk out of his office I go to the waiting and wait with the others while the doctor takes her blood

"Have you went to see severide yet?" Mouch asks

"No I should probably go say hi" I say stand in up and going to his room

:in severides room:

"Hey lieutenant" I say andnhe looks over

"Hey hermann, I heard sophia had just gotten to the hospital is she okay what happened?" He asks and I look at him weird 'why does he care so much?' I ask myself

"Its a long story but apparently some bozo had unprotected sex with my daughter and now she's pregnant" I say sitting down on a chair

"How far along is she?" Kelly asks

"About two days the doctor said, why?" I ask

" I'm the bozo hermann, I had slept with her" Kelly says

"Wait what...w-when..where"I ask all these questions

"Two days ago in our office" Kelly says

"You got my daughter pregnant, IN A OFFICE!" I yell as cheif boden walks In

"What about an office" cheif says

"severide an my daughter slept together in an office and now she's pregnant" I say to cheif

"Is that true?" Chief asks severide

"Yes sir" severide says looking down

"Fix this Kelly, don't leave her if it is yours" chief says

" I would never" severide says

"Dont hurt my daughter man, she is a good girl, she doesn't deserve anymore shit" I say walking out of his room

I would be living if I said I wasn't excited to finally have my own baby but i wonder how sophia feels about this, I wonder if shes pissed only way to know is to find out...
