It had been a week since the sports festival announcement and I had been training my ass off day and night. As I sit tiredly on a beach I had came across whilst I was strolling through the city. During my time training I had received multiple missed calls from Mina, seeing as she was the only one whom had my number. She had invited me out to train with the others but I never responded back. I knew she was trying to get the class back to the way it was but after what Momo had said in the classroom, nothing would be same, least for me that is."You're an ill mannered two timing swine who only cares about her self and no one trusts you and I quite frankly despise you."
Was that really how they all felt...?
I sigh lightly pushing myself up, shaking the sand out of my hair. As my thoughts were consumed I was unaware of a certain freckled hair boy skidding to a stop a few feet away.
"S-shi-chan?"
I glance to the side at the shy boy realizing that this was indeed the junky beach I had found him in that one time. No wonder it looked familiar. I thought, returning my gaze back to the open water. "You'd think this was a different beach without all the trash."
"Yeah..." He answers hesitantly, his timid gaze on the ground causing me to roll my eyes.
"Loosen up Midoriya, I don't bite." I pat the ground next to me.
Izuku's eyes widened at the friendly action with tinted cheeks as he hesitantly took a seat beside the silver haired female. He opened his mouth to say something but closed it immediately not wanting her to get mad at him. From how she reacted last week to the topic, he didn't wanna end up with a blade at his throat.
"Go head."
"E-eh?" He stuttered in question as she sighed glancing at him.
"You obviously wanna ask me something so ask. I think I already have a clue as to what it is so I promise I won't cut your head off or anything."
Izuku was silent for a moment as he averted his eyes. "What Yaoyorozu-san said the other day. I looked up the ginza incident..." He started hesitantly as her expression remained neutral.
"Is it true...did you really-"
"And if I did?" She interrupted.
Izuku went still as her attention was now fully on him, her unreadable crimson orbs stared intently into his for Doe-like ones.
"What you gonna call me a murderer to?"
Izuku's eyes widened as she turned her head, a look in her eye he was all to familiar with."Sorry to break it to you but multiple people have already beat you to it."
Loneliness...
Izuku frowned as he switched his gaze to the ocean.
"What happened...?""A small laugh greeted his ears in response causing him to nearly have a whiplash as he stared incredulously at the amused girl.
Not once had he ever heard Izanami Shi laugh. If izuku had known any better, he'd stay he was in an alternate universe. Was it weird that he thought he didn't even deserve such an honor of hearing such a rare thing."What's so f-funny?"
"Ahh nothing, it's just nowadays no one usually cares about what happened but who it happened to." I sigh with a bitter look in my eye as memories of the night resurfaced once again and the I found myself talking about something I had swore myself to never being up with the unlikeliest of people.
