I lost consciousness...
I thought groggily as I opened my eyes lazily, staring at the ceiling. I hate hospitals. In the corner of my eye, I saw blue hair. Iida... Memories of the Hero killer emerged as I pushed myself up slowly.
"S-shit!" I hissed taking my weight off my left hand to bring it up and examine. Bandages were wrapped around my palm causing me to frown in nostalgia. "S-shi-Chan, are you okay?"
I almost jumped at the sudden voice but relaxed dropping my hand, red eyes connecting with concerned green. "Never better." I sighed, scooting back so I could sit up. "Shi-san, please do not be so careless with your hand, you might reopen the wound!" Iida scolded.
"Urusei."
The robotic males brows twitched as she waved him off indifferently. Izuku sweatdropped at the girls careless attitude.
I ignored their chattering, deep in thought as my thoughts were still muddled by Stain.
"Oh so the injured youngins are awake." I'm brung back into reality to see an old man whom Izuku called Gran Torino, then a much younger guy to which Iida recognized as. Manual. A few seconds later, Ryuko appeared as well.
"Idiot, I could yell at you for hours right now." Gran Torino started to rant to Izuku whilst the boy tried to apologize but Torino interrupted him.
"But before that you have a visitor."
I looked at the door again to see the chief of police had entered the room. Instantly, my mood turned sour as I kept seated whilst everyone stood respectfully. Even if the man was partially the reason why I was able to walk free, he was still the one to testify against me in the Ginzu court case and he accused me of being a traitor.
"So you're the UA students that brought down the hero killer?" The chief asked.
"Stain has some serious injuries; severe burns, several broken bones, and is currently receiving treatment under strict guard woof. There's a lesson you should've already learned, that when superpowers were becoming the norm; the police attached high importance to leadership standards and made sure that quirks were not used a weapons. That's when hero's came in, they could do what we couldn't, if you have a license of course woof. For an individuals use of force and power that can easily kill others, actions that normally would be appropriate to denounce...to be accepted officially; it is all thanks to the early heroes who followed the ethics and rules of the profession, woof."
A scowl graced my face as my bangs shadowed my eyes. "Look if you're here to arrest us then do it, that's what you came all the way here for right, Kenji." I snap as Izuku looked between me and the dog man in confusion wondering if we knew each other.
"You four pups, and all the pro heroes mentoring you, Endeavor, Manual, Gran Torino, and Ryukyu. You eight must all be handed down and adequately punishe-"
"Wait a minute, if Iida had not stepped in Native would've been murdered. If not for Me, Midoriya and Izanami, both of them would've been dead." Shoto snapped taking a step forward whilst Izuku tried to hold him back.
"No one realized that the hero killer had appeared. Are you saying that we should've followed the rules and watched them get killed?"
"So it's ok to break the rules as long as it goes your way. There's a reason why these laws were put in place and the main one is sitting in this room right now." The boys flinched in shock as they followed the dog mans eyes to the stoic silver haired teen.
Could he be talking about the Ginzu incident... Izuku thought as the girls bangs shadowed her orbs whilst her arms were folded.
A scowl graced Shoto's face snapping his irritated orbs back to the dog man, angered at how the adult had singled the girl out. Even if he didn't know the whole story, he knew that she had to have had her reasons.
