The next day the majority of class 1-A reunited at the mall. Surprisingly, we were all quite popular, especially me seeing as I was in the top three in the sports festival.
"This is weird," I mumbled with an indifferent expression not changing my facial expression as three fanboys practically pushed each other out of the way to get in a picture with me.
"Don't be such a killjoy Nami-chan! We're practically famous. Smile!" I deadpan as the overly touchy girl invaded my personal space throwing her pink-skinned arm around my neck and bringing both our cheeks together.
Ochaco sweatdropped as Mina used her hand to forcefully upturn the stoic girl's mouth.
Once the boys got their picture, I shoved Mina's face away from mine causing the girl to comically stumble back. After everyone did autographs and such, the excitement quickly dispersed and mostly everyone went their own ways. It was just me Mina, Ochaco, and Izuku. Turning to Ochaco, I fold my arms and scan the strange place. "So this...is a mall? Why would anyone wanna waste their time here."
Mina gasped dramatically, placing her hands on my shoulders with a disappointed sigh. For a few seconds, she stared at me with pity. "Boy do I have my work cut out for me."
"He-" I barked with irk marks and a glare before she pressed her finger to my lips with a stern shake of her head. Hooking her arm with mine, her stern expression is back to its usual chipper one and she begins dragging me somewhere.
Digging my heels into the ground, I give the girl a bland look as she struggles to pull me. Looking over my shoulder, I cock my head toward the pair who seemed to be looking at each other awkwardly. "Zero gravity!" I called stealing the girl's attention from Izuku to me in confusion. "You tagging along or..." A sly grin etched into my features, my orbs flit between the two. "You guys are gonna just shop together...alone."
Ochaco froze at the girl's words while Izuku looked between the two innocently.
"Do you like-"
"Izucho"
I nearly tripped over my own legs as Ochaco appeared on the other side of me saying something about bug spray and dragging me and Mina away from a paranoid Izuku. I puff my cheeks in dissatisfaction as I'm dragged half away across the mall. My eyes zone in on the rather girly shop Mina seemed to be directing us right to and that's when I took my cue. "Uuu I cant wait to dress you two u-"
"Nami!?" Mina gasped doing a double-take as Ochaco looked to her left and her jaw dropped, matching Mina's. Blinking beelines were in the vacant space their friend had been a few seconds ago. Clenching her fist, the alien-like girl gritted her teeth with fire in the background causing Ochaco to back away nervously.
"NAMI!!!"
My shoulders shrunk slightly as I awkwardly grind my teeth hoping the two wouldn't come after me. Looking around, I halt for a second at something in the window of a small shop. Puffing my cheeks, I shake my head quickly and keep walking until I catch sight of broccoli colored hair.
"Oi Deku!" I call out, crossing my arms as I approached the boy and another guy who had his arm wrapped around his shoulder. The hell...why is that creep all over him...? I thought with a grimace as they both turned to me. "Oh another student from U.A, today's my lucky day! Can I have your autograph t-"
"Izuku get away from him."
Broken out of his thoughts, Izuku gave the silver-haired girl a confused look ignoring any sign of danger before going paralyzed with fear at the man's words.
"Man I seriously can't believe it. I can't believe I'd see both of you again in a place like this." My eyes narrowed with fury as I took a step forward but I halted as he put a hand on Izuku's neck. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, wouldn't want any more blood on your hands now would you?" He chuckled. "What do you want Tomura..." I asked keeping my composure as his visible chapped lips upturned underneath his hood. "Is that all I get after all that's happened...really, I'm hurt. Isn't it astounding how what a coincidence this is? It makes me feel like there's something to it...something like fate or destiny."
