Nick Fury sits in a chair in the living room, surrounded by the Avengers. Blue sits on the stairway, guarded by Thor and Clint. They had explained everything to Fury. HYDRA using Violet as an experiment, Blue growing rapidly inside Violet in the matter of days, the dramatic birth. The continuing of Blue's rapid growth out after coming out of the womb. Fury knows now why they had been keeping things low for the past few months. Blue is a creation of the impossible. "Fury, you can't report this to SHIELD." Natasha says protectively. "They'd take the kid faster than they would take any possible HYDRA information we found." Clint says knowingly, "The kid is a new creation unknown to science." Bruce nods his head. "They'd experiment on Blue to make him stop growing, which could damage him or turn him into something like me. And if that wasn't bad enough, they'd take Violet and use her for multiple experiments to make more just like Blue." Fury nods his head, knowing what they say is true. "Nick, I can't have them taken away from me." Steve holds Violet close to him, "I've already lost too many people before the ice, I can't lose Violet or Blue. Not ever." "Blue, how many times do we have to tell you? No practicing out of the training room!" Tony exclaims from the lab, "There's an arrow through one of the engines." Clint smirks at Blue, whose got a look on his face that says whoopsy. "Mr. Fury sir, I know you've heard about all of everybody's pleas but please understand that this is my child and if I have to fight to save him from SHIELD OR HYDRA's grasp, I will." Violet says dead serious, her eyes sharp enough to cut. "If you don't do this mission, SHIELD will look into all your files and figure out someway to channel you to do their dirty work. They'll find Jr. over there and there won't be anything to stop S.H.I.E.L.D. from taking him." Fury says apologetically, "I'm sorry, I truly am. But you can't keep harboring this kid for the rest of his life, no matter how short it may be." "I'm just trying to keep him for as long as I can."Violet says, "He's my child, I it's my nature to protect him." "SHIELD doesn't care about nature, Stark Jr. All they'll see is a creation unknown to Science and they'll want to cut him open from head to torso." Violet shivers at the thought, Steve rubs her arms for warmth. "I was thinking about a safe house." Steve says, "A place where we can keep Violet and Blue safe." "You could, but it would have to be authorized by S.H.I.E.L.D. They would pick it up somewhere." Fury stands up, "I have to go, but all that I can tell you is that boy can't be protected by you guys at all times. You have a job to do. I'd take that call."
