Steve walks down the hallway, slowing down once he gets to Blue's room. He sighs and continues onto his and Violet's room. When he opens the door, he can already tell that Violet had cried herself to sleep. She tends to do that more often now. Steve walks over and takes her boots off, pulling the sheets over her body for warmth. Violet's speech left everyone speechless and uneasy. But she's right, SHIELD will do experiment after experiment on Blue until they can stop his growth. It may kill him, and that would only be worse for Steve and his love. They'd make her have another child and experiment on them too. Steve and Violet would never have a normal life.
Before the ice, Steve wanted the family life. He wanted the marriage, the house, the kids—everything a normal man would have. But after he woke up from the ice, he decided that was all behind him. But now that he partially has his old dream, the girl and the kid, they could be taken away from him. And that's fight he's willing to take but it has its consequences.
Steve gets in the shower, letting the lukewarm water flow over him. He keeps wracking his brain on what he should do. Violet is right, they would do experiment after experiment on Blue until they found a way to stunt his growth. But Nick Fury had one point, SHIELD will eventually find out about Blue and then there won't be anything stopping them. The two arguments give Steve a headache. Should he let Blue go? Or should he keep the boy close and shelter him for the rest of his days? Both questions lead to Violet getting hurt.

Tony sits at a desk in his mechanic shop in the basement. He's remaking another suit for an emergency. His heart hurts from Violet's knife like words. They had hit him in the chest, hard. If Violet could only understand why Tony felt the way he did about giving Blue over to SHIELD. As cruel as it may sound, the mutant boy will be dead in the matter of weeks. Months, even. And even though he seems like Blue agitates him, Tony does love his grandson no matter how messy and destructive the kid is. Tony's DNA partly runs in Blue's veins. The kid is half Stark and half Rogers.
Tony wanted to call Pepper and ask for her opinion but he knew she would only side with Violet and Steve. When Blue started talking, two days after he was born, he had called Pepper Mamaw. It made the attachment so much more worse. Steve, Violet, Bruce, and Clint all agree to not give Blue to SHIELD. Natasha  agreed with Tony. Thor said that he had no say on the subject matter considering how much he himself is fond of Blue. In other words, he didn't want to choose sides.
Feeling slightly guilty, Tony takes his cellphone out and dials a number. He puts the phone to his ear, listening to the ringing sound.
"This is SHIELD, state your name and your business." A female voice says firmly, formal.
"Yes, this is Tony Stark and I need to talk to the council." Tony says, polishing the metal suit with a torn up shirt.
"The Council is very busy, is there anyone else we can contact for you, Mr. Stark?" The woman says
"Director Fury." Tony clears his throat, "Get me Director Nick Fury on the phone. I have something to discuss about our Code Blue."
