"Mommy, I'm making my four year old birthday list!" Nova says scribbling on a piece of paper with a red crayon.
"Oh you are? What it say?"
Nova sighs and points to the paper. "Not much, just a new dolly, a princess bed, a teddy bear.. Oh! And a baby!" She smiles.
"A baby?! No ma'am." Jessica chuckles.
"Mooooom!" Nova whines loudly.
"Mooom!" Jessica mocks her.
"You sound like your brother! Around this age he wanted a baby brother or sister too!"
"What did you do?"
"We bought him a puppy."
"I'll take the puppy too.."
"No cause then you'll just keep on bugging for a baby like he did."
"What did you get him when he bugged again?" Nova lifts her little hands.
"You!"
"What?! Oh my gosh, that is such a good gift!"
"You are a pretty amazing little gift, aren't you?" Jessica laughs.
"Yeah, like SO amazing!"
"Yes!" She chuckles.
"Now IIIII need an amazing gift TOO! Like a baby brother or sister! I'll take either one or both!"
"Baby girl, daddy and I have chosen to end our little end with the most beautiful little girl in this world! And that's You!"
"Mommy.."
"Yes, baby?"
"Nice twy."
Jessica laughs. "I'm serious, Nova! Just ask your father. That was the plan!"
"I did!"
"Yeah? And what'd he say?"
"He said he'll work on it!" She jumps.
"What? Daniel!" She shouts.
"Yeah, babe?"
"Get over here!"
"What did I do?"
"Did you tell Nova you'll work on getting me to have a baby?"
".. NOOOO.." He chuckles nervously.
"WHAT?! Yes you did, daddy! YOU DID!"
"Nova Bella, don't you lie!"
"Oh my lord!" Nova places her palm on her forehead.
"Daddy, you're the one lying! You're not nice and Jesus doesn't like that, and you're not gonna go to Heaven!"
Jessica couldn't help but laugh at what Nova was saying.
"Jess, I didn't mean-"
"Well I hope not! I just had a baby and I'm done!"
"Baby-"
"No, Danny!"
Danny sighs then looks down at Nova. "Sorry, bug. I tried." He shrugs.
"Not hard enough!" Nova stomp on his foot and storms out.

This year Samuel and Nova begged to have their birthday party together, so that's exactly what they did. The party was going to be at held at the park and the entire family was invited.
"Check out that cutie!" Grayson smiles to a girl around 13 years old who was just getting to the park.
"I'm gonna ask her if she wants to come to the party."
Jessica pulls him back by his shirt. "Grayson George Shepard! You stop that!"
"Mom, look at her! She's beautiful!"
"You cool it, hot pants!"

"Daddy! Is it present time yet?" Nova runs over to Danny.
"Well I guess it can be! Go grab Samuel."
"Okay!" She smiles.

"WOOOOWWWW! COOOOL! Nova, look! I got a real truck!"
"Cool! Look! I got a doll house!"
"Nice, Nova!"
"HEY! Hey, Sammy!" Nova touches his shoulder.
"What?"
"I'm Auntie Nova to you, mister!"
"Yes MA'AM!" He responds as everyone laughs.

Once all of their presents have been opened, Sam and Tiffany give Samuel one last surprise.
"Sammy, daddy and I have one more present for you!"
"Gimmie! Gimmie! Gimmie!" He marches on the chair as he reaches out his wiggly fingers.
"Well you won't get it until November!" Tiffany smiles.
"What?! That's nuts!"
"Oh my gosh!" Jessica places her hand on her chest once it clicks.
"We've got another one!" George chuckles.
"Ohhhhh! Say it!" Jessica shouts.
Tiffany laughs and says, "Samuel, for your birthday daddy and I are promoting you to a big brother!"
Everyone screams and Samuel just looks at his parents.
"What's with the face? Aren't you happy, bud?" Sam asks.
"No!"
"Samuel!" Tiffany says.
"I wanna be the baby!" He pouts.
"Well you'll Always be our baby! But now you're our BIG baby! You're gonna have a little brother or sister!"
Just then both Samuel And Nova start bawling.
"Nova, why are you crying?" Jessica asks.
"I wanted a baby! The birthday fairy got it wrong! I asked! Samuel didn't!"
"Oh goodness." Jessica sighs.

*** I know, another baby! 😬 Lol I wasn't planning that AT ALL! I wasn't even sure if I wanted them to have another one. But since Nova wants a baby, I figured why not make it hurt a little more that she isn't getting one. I know that's mean😞
