Chapter 23

"Lily?" I heard a familiar voice, one I really hate to hear, but this time, I was glad to hear it.

I slowly opened my eyes. I see Tony, Bruce and two other men standing.

"Tony...Bruce.." I cried.

"She's alive! She and Loki both are," Bruce smiled happily.

"Lo...Loki!," I immediately sat up and turn to my side. Loki was still unconscious, but he is breathing slowly.

"Where's Thor," Bruce asked.

"The ship exploded, we got separated. But Thanos is coming without a doubt," I replied.

"Hey little one, let's get you healed up first," Tony grabbed my arm. It was the first time I felt thankful to him.

"Heal Loki first," I begged. "Forgive him for what he had done in New York city please, he sacrificed himself to protect Thor, the Asgardians and I," I cried.

Tony and one of the man exchange looks but ends up nodding their head. They brought Loki to another room, I followed them. I look at the two unfamiliar faces, one of them had a necklace, who gave the same aura as the space stone.

I pointed to the necklace, "Is that one of the stones," I asked, a little breathless.

He nodded, " My name is Doctor Stephen Strange, he is Wong, we are the protectors of the time stone," he replied.

"Okay... But don't underestimate him, he is the mad Titan," I replied feeling I might lose my conscious again.

It did not take long. Loki's injuries were mainly healed thanks to Tony's tech. He regained his conscious, got startled and immediately pulls out his knife. Tony and Bruce stepped back.

"Where am I!" He demanded before looking around.

He saw me, dropped his knife and hugged me tightly. "Thank god you're here," He cried.

"Who else can bring you back to earth silly," I smiled weakly.

Tony let out a cough, "Sorry but I need to treat her injuries too," Tony said.

Loki let me go, "Sorry," He apologized.

I stood on the bed and closed my eyes. As he heals, I felt much better. Sadly, I was unable to recover immediately. There was chaos outside. I opened my eyes.

"They're here," I turned to Tony.

"I can heal up the rest, we need to go after them before they start destroying this city," I continued.

My healing power wasn't great, it takes up energy too and my healing factor is just too slow to be fully recovered. We ran out, with people screaming and running, we ran towards the direction people were running away and helped those who fell.

"Oh my god it's that Squidward again," I groaned as I held Loki's hand.

"Yeah he does look like one," Tony agreed.

"You two dating?" Bruce looked at our hands and then look at us in confusion.

Loki and I look at each other, "Maybe," We replied in sync.

"When did that happen?" Bruce asked.

"Sakaar?" I asked Loki who nodded his head. "Is now really the right time to question our relationship Banner?" Loki asked back. I laughed a little. Maybe it is some kind of stress relieve.

"Right sorry," Bruce faced to Squidward instead.

Tony gave an epic entrance I must admit, his tech has advanced to the point of using nanotech. Loki and I were quite far behind so I could not really hear what they were saying with Doctor Strange and Tony but I did notice that Bruce was unable to turn into a Hulk. We walked in front,

"Bruce, you okay?" I asked.

"Dude you're embarrassing me in front of wizards," Tony added.

"I'm trying," Bruce yelled. You can see the green vines but Hulk refuses to show.

"Was it because he was defeated by Thanos?" I questioned.

"Wa-what? Hulk was that it? Seriously!" Bruce groaned.

We had to fight without the Hulk. Taking the children of Thanos is like taking minions. Tony and Strange went for Squidward while Wong, Bruce, Loki and I went for the big guy. He was a little strong, threw us to the part with one swipe. But the tables turned quickly as I flew and controlled him, tossing him around. He's strong physically so we need something that is strong enough to cut his flesh. His skin seems thick.

"Here!" Wong yelled as he created a portal.

How convenient. I threw him into the portal. We watch as he slowly regains his conscious. He jumped, attempting to come back from the portal, but Wong quickly closed it, chopping his head off.

"Gruesome," I commented. Loki agreed.

I saw their spaceship taking off but Tony and another hero were chasing it.

"I think they can handle it," I said and turn to Bruce.

"Do you know where Cap and the rest were?" I asked.

"Tony said the Avengers broke up," Bruce replied.

"Broke up? Like what? Relationship?" I facepalmed. Even before I leave, I reminded Steve that they have to stick no matter what.

"That's what I said!" Bruce sighed.

Wong mentioned that he needs to leave to protect the Sanctum now that Doctor Strange and the rest chase after the Squidward. Bruce picked up Tony's phone, luckily it was on Steve's phone number. He made a call to Steve and we went to meet them.
