40. Midnight Memories

I plopped on my bed and tossed my bag to the side on my floor. I am just glad to be back in my room again. It's like 11:30 at night. I have been in the hospital for the entire day with my mum.

The chain of events that has happened today is more than I have had in a while. I have forgiven my mother, completely changed my hair, and have came to a couple realizations.

Every part of my being is exhausted. I hopped off my bed and headed towards the bathroom, striping my clothes off on my way there. I took off my nose ring and all my earrings. I quickly took a shower to wash off the days dirt.

I wrapped a towel around my small body and went to the sink to brushed my teeth. When I was all done I ran back into my room and grabbed a fresh pair of under wear and a giant nirvana shirt.

After I got dressed I jumped onto my bed. I spread my arms around like a little kid, enjoying the plush comforter and soft pillows. I crawled beneath my covers and just as I was about to drift off I started to hear noises.

It sounded like a tapping at my window. I thought maybe I'm just really tired and my mind is imagining things. So I ignored it. After a minute the noises kept coming.

I angrily shoved my covers off and walked over to my window. I didn't really care at this point I just wanted the noises to stop. I opened my curtains and just as I did something hit one of my window panels pretty hard.

I stumbled back and when I took a closer look my window had a crack in it. Just as I opened my window and looked down into the lawn of my back yard.

What I saw somewhat didn't surprise me. It's was Calum pacing back and forth mumbling various profanity to himself. A smile spread from cheek to cheek.

"Smooth one Romeo." I spoke up which caused him to look up and notice me.

"Shit I am so sorry. I will fix it. I just didn't know I would throw that hard or that I-" I cut him off.

"Calum?"

"Yeah" He spoke.

"Shut up." I said and he cracked a smile.

"Can I come up?" He asked nervously. I thought about it for a second.

"Sure, just try not to break anything else." I spoke sarcastically.

"I'll try my best." He joked with me.

I walked back over to my bed and sat back down on the edge. Only a minute later Calum basically fell through my window but quickly got up.

"Wow you really must sweep the lady's off their feet." I joked.

"I only have one lady in mind." He said and I blushed. Smooth one Hood.

"Nice hair." He spoke and made a cheeky smile. For a second I was confused. I felt my back to realize I no longer have long hair.

"You like it?" I spoke enthusiastically. He walked forward till he was standing right above me.

"I think you look like the most perfect, beautiful...blue berry." He said and leaded down, putting his hand on either side of me.

Just when he thought we were going to kiss, I turned my head to the side which made him kiss my cheek. He smiled against my cheek.

"That's for calling me a blue berry and breaking my window." I said softly.

"It was an accident." He winded and formed his plump lips into a pout. I got up and quickly got on my tippy toes and gave him quick kiss.

"And that's for being such a dork." I smiled and ran past him, downstairs and into the living room.

I fell onto the white leather couch. Calum soon standing in front of me watching me lay there.
