Part 6 best friends

It's been two more weeks now, and around two this morning, I woke up to go to the bathroom. This fucking thing is really annoying me, but it will be better later. I hate that I almost woke Shane up, but I hope he's okay with it. My stomach hurt like a bitch too. So it's painful to do some stuff. I went back to bed and laid my head on Shane's chest, till I felt fingers in my hair.

Shane: You okay?

Joey: Yeah, pee break.

Shane: Okay, how's your stomach?

Joey: It hurts, but it's kind of good, I mean at least we know the kid is growing.

Shane: Haha, that's good. Do you want me to rub it a little bit?

Joey: At two in the morning?

Shane: If you need it.

Joey: I will be okay, maybe in the morning.

Shane: If you say so.

I laid down and relaxed with Shane's arms around me.

The following morning, I woke up in an empty bed. I wanted to look after Shane, so I got up from bed, only in sweatpants, and went downstairs. I found Meghan in the kitchen.

Meghan: Good morning, Joey!

Joey: Morning, Meghan-San! Have you seen Shane?

Meghan: No, but I see a cute, little, baby bump!

I looked down, but I didn't know what Meghan was talking about. It would be another couple of weeks before anyone would be able to see anything.

Meghan: I can't wait for it to come out!

Joey: It's got another 8 and a half months left, so it will take a while.

Meghan: At least this is a start!

Joey: Yeah, I'm gonna go find Shane.

I looked around the house, and found him in the garden eating cereal with David. I wrapped my arms around him and kissed his cheek.

Joey: Morning, love.

Shane: Hi, had a nice sleep babe?

Joey: Yeah, and look.

He turned around a took a look.

Shane: What is it?

Joey: Meghan thinks I'm growing already.

Shane: You're the same size.

Joey: Exactly! I didn't say anything to her, but it's going to be a couple weeks before you can see anything.

Shane: That's okay, I can't wait.

I got closer to give him a kiss on the lips.

David: Aww, where can I find a boyfriend like you?

Shane: Keep looking; mine's taken.

David: I will, I just hope I find someone half as good as you two.

Joey: You could go to a gay club or something.

David: Would you go with me?

Joey: Pregnant, can't drink.

Shane: And I don't drink, you could try to call Tyler or someone.

Joey: Will and RJ can hang out with you.

David: That sounds like a good idea, I'm just really jelly over your relationship.

Shane: Trust me, I would be jelly if I saw Joey with any other guy.

Joey: But I only want you!

Shane: And I only want you.

He said sweetly, and kissed me. I love this guy so much!

Shane: Babe, you don't mind if I'm with Trisha and Shanna today, right?

Joey: No, of course not.

Shane: Can I like... tell them about us?

Joey: Sure, but just don't let them tell anyone else.

Shane: They are my best friends; they won't.

Joey: I believe you.

Shane: But should I give you that belly rub I promised you.

Joey: Yeah sure!

Shane: Let's go to your room, then.

Joey: Our room, Shaney.

Shane: Okay, let's go to our room.

David: Have a good time; I have condoms in my room if you need them.

Joey: I'm already pregnant...

David: Yeah, but you have two holes and a dick.

Joey: Whatever...

Shane and I went upstairs, and Shane helped me with my aching belly.

Shane POV

I was outside the door to Trisha's apartment.

Trisha: Hey Shane! Haven't seen you in forever!!

Shane: I know, right!?

Trisha: What have you been up to? You have to tell me what happened after that fight with Lisa!

Shane: Sure, but I have some happy news too. Where is my other girl?

Tricia: Shanna is in the living room.

I walked inside and hugged and said hi to Shanna.

Shanna: You need to answer my texts better, not only "I can't" or "I'm busy".

Shane: I've been kind of stressed, but things are turning out really well!

Trisha: Yeah, Shane has some exciting news!! Tell us!

Shane: Well... I'm going to be a dad!

Girls: Aww omg!!

Shanna: But wait!? After what Lisa did to you?

Shane: It's not Lisa, and fuck I'm glad that she's not the mother.

Shanna: But who is the mother?

Shane: The baby doesn't have a mother.

Trisha: So, you mean like, you're adopting a baby that lost their mom?

Shane: Nope, the baby is six weeks old in the pregnancy.

I got them totally confused.

Shane: I know it's sounds like a myth, but I'm dating one of the only natural men with women parts.

Shanna: Does that even exist?

Trisha: Who are you dating, and already having a child with?

Shane: Yeah, they exist, and it's Joey.

Shanna: Graceffa!?

Shane: Yup!

Shanna: He's a woman?!

Shane: Not really, he sees himself as a man. He has a penis but... yeah I can't really tell you about the rest because I haven't seen it.

Trisha: But you had sex with him?!

Shane: I was drunk...

Shanna: Wait!? You were drunk? And you hooked up with Joey, got him pregnant, because he has a vagina, and now you're together?

Shane: Yeah, I was so upset over what happened with Lisa, so I had a few too many drinks and... I kind of liked Joey anyway, and I guess my drunk brain told me to fuck him. I didn't know he could get pregnant, though. So he came over one day, and told me the situation, and I just saw my chance to be with Joey and become a loving dad.

This child means a lot more than people think, to me. I was abused by my father, and I just want to be the best dad I can possibly be, for my kids. I'm a 26 year old guy, and I'm ready for kids now. I'm still worried about Joey, though. He will miss his young adult life, and sometimes I feel bad about that... He can't go out with his friends and have fun like people his age. I never had the kind of social life that Joey does. I just hope that I can take care of our child more when it's born; so Joey can live the young life he wants, for a bit longer, before it's too late.

Shanna: Well I'm happy for you, congratulations!

Trisha: Yeah! We need to celebrate this! I got some candy and cake in the kitchen!
