so the other day i was binge watching dr phil videos because their sad stories make my life seem better so yk.
and i came across this episode about a woman who hadn't eaten a meal in four years. i was curious, so i clicked it. she explained she had a condition called arfid which makes her terrified of food and she believes she is allergic to many foods and can't eat much. here's the video:

obviously, this woman has a very severe version of arfid. i'm not saying it's her fault, I'm just saying her case is very extreme. i decided to look up arfid because some of the symptoms she was talking about kind of resonated with me. the weirdest one being the fact that she can't go into supermarkets because she has a panic attack. i can walk into supermarkets, but i get overwhelming anxiety because it feels like everyone in there is shoving it in my face that i can't eat and i'm scared of what will happen if i do.

so after my extensive research, i realised that the probability that i have arfid is extremely high. most things matched up. i really didn't expect it to.

now it's just the case of getting my parents to book me an appointment with a doctor.
