look at me loving life for once

can i just say how adorable my english teacher is

like not in a way that i have a crush on her or anything like oh fuck no

but she just gets excited about the smallest things

like we're studying of mice and men and she decided to do a lesson on context so we'd understand everything more

and she was getting so excited when talking about the 1920s cause she got to put all of her history knowledge to use

and at one point she was even like "you know what guys i'm too good at this i'm gonna become a history teacher and leave you all behind" and she got all happy when we started laughing and some people were like "nooooo don't goooo" and awwwwww

she's just so precious???

and she gets sad when we don't laugh at her jokes like shejehjeje

when we were studying poetry she was telling us what to do when we get an unseen poem in our exam (welcome to gcse english where it's not a fucking open book exam)

and she was like "first look at the title, think of the connotations, think about the context, what clues could it give us about the poem..." yknow all that good stuff

and she turned around and said "and the next step, you're not gonna believe this, is to read the poem!!!" and she got all smiley and stuff and only a few people laughed (i laughed cause i am l o y a l to miss bevan) because most people thought it was lame

and she got kinda shy and sad and didn't make many jokes for the rest of the lesson (which was absolutely devastating her jokes are bangers truly)

then i saw her at the end of the day and she was like "i don't know whether you could tell but i got really sad today cause none of you laughed at my joke" and i was like the a u d A c i t Y

so i was like "nooo shut up i laughed i really liked it" and she got all happy like "i kNEW you'd laugh you love my jokes" and i was like "YES BITCH I DO"

i sound like an idiot but i genuinely love this woman

i had her in year 7 and i'm happy i did cause all the other english teachers are bitches and idk how i'd last if i had those in my first year

then in year 8 she was replaced by miss king (who is the worst english teacher in the whole school js) and she bullied us because we didn't like alice in wonderland like ho who the f u c k actually likes the original alice in wonderland??? the movie, sure. the book, fuck no

and now t h i s year i have miss bevan and i feel at home again i better have her up to year 11 otherwise i'll stab myself in the throat
