Saving Megan

The Living Nightmare

            Megan's P.O.V

      I just stay in Nick's arms, just like in coma land. I can't loose him, I can't loose any of them.  It's just too painful.

      Everyone comes rushing into the room and see me. They all hug me and tell me what's been going on. Mia comes and hugs me last.

     "Don't you ever do that again. I've been away for a long time and then you being in here, just reminds me of the first time." Mia says and hugs me again. I look down, the first time was worse.

     "Wait, he's put you in a coma more than once?!?!" Luke exclaims.

     "Luke, calm down. Yes, and that's kinda why Mia left." I say. It's silent for a while. Nick sighs.

     "Megan, you have to tell us what happened." He says.

     "Where are my parents?" I ask. They all look down or at each other.  "Guys, where are my parents?"

    "They're giving you up. My mom said that she would love for you to stay with us." Mia says.

      "They're giving me up? What the hell, I get in an accident and they give me up. Assholes." I say.

     "So, now your going to stay with me. My mom is adopting you." I nod.

    "Thank you, Mia. Tell your mom that I'm so greatfull for her and you. Where's all my stuff?"

     "It's already at my house. Your going to stay in our guest room."

     "Okay. So, Luke and Mia are dating. Your ship name shall be Lia. I swear to god Luke if you hurt her, I will choke you and or kill you. I've learned a couple things in my years." I say.

       "I promise. I would never hurt her, but Megan you have to tell us what happened." Luke says.

      "Well, in coma land it was so freaking crazy. We were all at the Laser Tag Arena. All of you died except Mia, you weren't there, and I had to go with him, but when we left it would start all over again. I had to watch all of you die like, 20 times. It sucked." I say.

      "Dammit, Megan! Tell us what happened with Zach!" Nick yelled. I jumped at the sharpness of his voice. Tears instantly in my eyes as I heard his name. Nick see's my face. "Megan, I'm sorry. It's just we need to know. So, we know what he's capable of so, we can protect you." He says calmly. I nod.

     "I'm surprised that Mia didn't tell you, yet." I say and look at her.

    "You should tell them, not me. It's your past, not mine." Mia says. I sigh.

     "Do you guys really want to know?" I say. Everyone nods. I take a deep breath. "I don't think you guys can handle it, it's pretty fucked up."

     "Megan, we can handle it. Were not 3, although some of us act like it." Sara says and glares at Hunter.

     "Fine." I sigh. I take a shaky breath. "It all started when I was 12, my mom was asleep and Zach came home drunk. I was on the couch when he came in, I ran over and helped him up the stairs. He kept saying 'Your growing into a woman, Megan. Why don't you have a boyfriend, your so pretty.' He kept talking until I got him into the guest room. I walked into my room and went to sleep. That's how it all kinda started."

     "A couple weeks later, me and my mom were watching tv. He came home drunk and started yelling at my mom, 'Your a worthless piece of shit and your an ugly whore.' He came over and raised his hand to hit her, but I jumped in and took the hit. I fell to the floor and my mom came over to me. She started yelling at my dad, telling him to leave, but he just kept apologizing and promising that he would never do it again. I looked at his face and it was like his eye's grew darker and cold. He had a smirk on his face. That was the day he became Zach, not my father. That's when the abuse started." My voice was shaky and I kept looking at people to see if they wanted me to stop, but nope.
