Saving Megan

Welcome Home

                Megan's P.O.V

      "Megan, rate your pain on a scale from 1 to 10." Dr. Jay says and presses his hand to my forehead, I wince.

    "6, maybe 7." I say, Dr. Jay writes something down and looks back at me.

     "I'm going to perscribe you with some pain meds and then you can go home. Would you like to call your friends?"

    "Could you call them, I kinda broke my phone?"

     "Of course. What's the number?" I tell Dr. Jay Mia's number and he tells her that she can come pick me up. Dr. Jay writes something on a peice of paper and hands it to me, my perscription.

     "Thank you, Dr. Jay." I say.

     "Please, just call me Jay. I feel old when people call me that."

    "Why? Its not like I'm calling you Mr. Jay." I laugh and so does he.

    "I don't know. I just think I'm too young to be a doctor." He says as we walk out of my hospital room.

    "Well, thank you. Your the nicest doctor I've met and trust me I've spent alot of time in hospitals." Jay shrugs.

    "Its my job. I hope I do and don't see you in here again. I do, because i would love to see you again and I wouldn't because I wouldn't want to see you in pain." I smile and Mia comes up to the desk with her Mom. I hug her and her Mom.

     "Thank you for taking me in, Amanda." I say and slightly smile.

     "No problem, sweetie. Now where do I sign?" She asks Jay. He hands her a peice of paper and she writes some stuff down.

     "He's been flirting with me." I whisper in Mia's ear and we laugh.

    "How are you and Nick?" She asks me, speaking normaly. I sigh.

     "I don't know. I've been out for a month, I missed alot. I know he cares about me and I know he loves me, I'm just afraid that he might use him against me like he did with you,  I'm scared. How are you and Luke?" I ask, she smiles.

    "Great! Thanks for the ship name I like Lia, its cute. I think Mick is your's." We both laugh at our obsession with ship names. Amanda shakes hands with Jay and comes over to us.

    "Let's go home." She says and we smile.

     "Bye, Jay. Thank you." I say and he nods. Me and Mia smile and laugh, then walk out. We get in the car and drive to Mia's house. We get out and walk to the front door. Amanda unlocks the door and opens it.

     "Welcome home, Princess." I hear those words and my stomach drops. My eyes widen and the three of us stare at Zach.

     "Oh, come on. Don't look at me like that. Amanda, just a reminder our court date is on Friday. See you all there. Goodbye, Princess." He kisses my forehead and walks out. I just stand there and Mia snaps her fingers in my face.

     "Megan! Megan!" She yells, I shake my head and look at her.

    "Amanda, what did he mean by court date?" I ask.

    "Your father is trying to win custody, but I won't let him. I promise." She says and I nod.

      "What will happen if he does?" I ask.

       "I don't know, but we won't find out.  Mia, why don't you take Megan to her room. You guys could call your friends and order pizza." Mia and I nod, then walk upstairs.

     "I'll call everyone since you broke your phone. The bathroom is down the hall and so is my room." Mia says and opens the door to a pretty good sized  bedroom with a bed, desk, walk in closet, and a full lenght mirror.

     "Thank you, Mia." I say and hug her.

     "We will never let him get you." She whispers, I nod and she leaves. I put on a pair of white skinny jean and a Red t-shirt. I walk downstairs and sit on the couch. Amanda comes in and sits next to me.

     "I got this for you." She says and hands me an Iphone.

     "Amanda thank you, for everything. Taking me in and this, I really appreciate it." I say and hug her.

     "Your family now and I'll make sure he doesn't get you."

     "I hope." Mia comes down and sits with us. She puts all her contacts in my phone and then the doorbell rings. I jump and turn my head to the door.

     "Its just the gang........ I think." Mia mumbles the last part. Mia and I get up and walk to the door. She opens it and I see the gang, we breathe a sigh of relief.

     "Megan!!" Everyone yells and hugs me.

     "Yeah, I'm still alive." I laugh.

     "Yeah, except Zach was here earlier and it was creepy. How did he get in, anyways." Mia blabbs and everyone's eyes widen. I smacm her head.

      "They didn't need to know he was here." I groan.

     "WHAT THE HELL!! HE WAS HERE!! MEGAN, YOU CAN'T STAY HERE!!" Nick and Sara yell at the same time, I just laughed. "WHY ARE YOU LAIGHING!!" They yell.

    "I'm sorry, its just you two yelles at the same time." I laugh out. Nick grabs my shoulders.

     "Megan, what happened?"

     "I already told you everything."

     "What happened today?"

     "We came home and he was here. We have to be in court on Friday. He's trying to get custody."

    "HELL NO!! HE TOOK EVERYTHING FROM YOU!! HE IS NOT GETTING YOU, I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL KILL HIM MYSELF!!" He yells.

     "Nick, stop yelling. He won't get me at least I hope not." I say.

    "I just don't want to loose you,again." He cups my face in his hands.

     "Awwwwwww." Everyone coo's and we smile.

     "Welcome home, Megan." He kisses my forehead and backs away. I really am home, here with all my friends and new family, is home.
